Conspiracy theory: BBTS is waiting it out. Letting all other retailers gets theirs in first so people would cancel their Early bird pre-orders to get it NOW. hmm... that would be so evil... cause my EB price is $75 and sites are selling it now for $95?

the date on bbts has now been changed to August instead of Early August.
i'll bet we won't see tigris in september either.

Well, today IS Aug 15, so hardly "Early August" anymore. And we haven't seen a whole lot of Tigris, so it's likely he is also pushed back past Sept. PlanetSteelExpress still has Tigris as shipping on Aug. 20th, maybe they are behind in updates.

We will make it through this wait!

To be fair, people overseas (especially UK folks) have been getting him... Autobot Genocide has had him for what, 2 weeks already? Maybe he's being held up at US customs or something.

It also depends on shipping method. Is Talon flying to us or taking the slow boat from China? And, indeed, I can tell you from experience, US Customs can be a pain...

Thanks for that, Megatronus! It's nice to get some info like this. It will help ease my stress some. Hopefully there will not be too much more delay.

In actuality, I would be more concerned now for perishable goods being shipped from overseas. I can wait for my plastic crack. Just wish I knew this was a possibility and I'd have shipped my POL a few weeks ago and waited until late Sept to get Talon. Oh, well...

Damn...labor disputes ? Sounds like the work of unions. 95% of them just cause troble and reap the profits.

I wonder what other items are being delayed ? Mania King ? Salmore ?

And do you really know me well enough to say what I am educated in my friend ? (I mean no disrespect because we are always cool) Being an employee at a place where the union was bought off by the employer, I feel I am entitled to my opinion. Maybe unions have done something good for you, but they cost everybody where I work an easy $10,000 raise. That's a lot of Transformers, I reckon. You're right, I shouldn't be making those assumptions - I apologize for that. Also, good to hear we're cool!

I just wouldn't extend the conclusions of your personal experience to this particular situation... or even the history of unions generally. Their rise is directly correlated with the establishment of the middle class in the US, and their decline is very much in line with the growing income gap these last few decades. My wife is a NYC public school teacher. She hates her union, but has gradually come to recognize (partially due to my liberal politics) that the union is, at worst, a necessary evil.

But yea... those are my personal politics, so I'll zip it. Just figured I'd let you know where I'm coming from.

Also... agree with Mooncake. Feral Rex has gotta be cursed. But in the best way. :twisted:

At this time we are expecting our Talon shipment to be inbound very soon. The customs/shipping hold up was due to an possible strike going on with certain shipping and receiving docks and drivers out west. We have since re-routed our Talon shipment though to a different port and it is now en route."
