Well, the UPS truck came early today and...

I love him. He's my Predaking. He's stable overall, little problems with the feet but he's just incredible. I'll be displaying him with his wings down, though, for space reasons. But to quote the Ninth Doctor, he's "Fantastic!"

Hmm, interesting. But I'm not sure I'm even gonna combine him with Feral Rex once. I dunno. He;s just not part of the 'team' to me.

Yea, I'm not getting him for Feral Rex - he's wholly to fiddle with so I'm not as tempted to separate Feral Rex.

Finally got the last member of the team in yesterday. What an awesome figure! I don't think I did the legs right (I waited until not to try out combining them at all), but it doesn't matter. The end result is really impressive. My main display will need some serious reworking.

Just received all five of these guys a week ago and have slowly been working my way through them. Can someone take pity on a guy who's very late to the bandwagon and explain what the little black pieces included with Tigris and Talon are?

Are you talking about the replacement elbows for Bovis and Fortis?

Yea, if you're talking about the little black pieces that are included in the box with the instructions and whatnot, those are replacement elbow joints for Bovis & Fortis. Because of a small black tab being reversed on the right arms (since both elbows use the same piece, the right elbow is "backwards"), the teeth in the piece wear away. Those pieces with the instructions are proper replacements.

If you're talking about the little baggie of black pieces that come outside the Talon & Tigris boxes, those are to help fill in the gaps in Bovis', Fortis', and Talon's forearms.

Be careful with your weapons, guys, my Talon's dagger just broke as I was removing it from his hand to combine into the giant sword. I've already contacted MMC, but if it happened to me it could happen to you.

I did find Talon's/Tigris swords to be quite tight when equipped/combined, so I filed the connection points down a bit to loosen them up to reduce any chances of them breaking on me using to much force trying to pull them apart

Sucks to have that happen on you though.

Oh no. Sorry about that. Yes, I'll be careful. In fact, I rarely put the swords/daggers in their hands since the first release of Bovis. Never success on doing that for Bovis so later figures I just don't bother that much. But Talon looks really cool with those. :-(

Seriously. I totally screwed up one of Bovis' daggers when I first got it. MMC replaced it, but it's still pretty remarkable how difficult it is to arm these guys.

What I find is that Bovis' melee weapons fits well on Fortis, and vice-versa. So that might be a simple solution for those who don't mind them switching weapons

No QC issues at all unlike some other stuff that came with this order. although the elbow ratchets aren't as strong as I'll hope it'll be can't hold that giant sword in some poses.. but I'm just being super nit-picky. Very happy to finally have this done. Now no more 3P combiners for me. Just going to play the waiting game with combiner wars.

Thanks! just shoved this guy in a detolf for now. he barely fits gotta fold the wings the right way. Going to have to move pieces around on my self to make this guy fit I'll prob try to take better pictures before he goes on his permanent spot. Also I feel like the individual bots are the best of any combiner to date. Playing with them last night makes me wish that FP Sludge had those ratchets... =/

Felisaber is certainly a great shot with his pistol, but we felt he needed some melee capability, so he will also include a helmet for his alt mode that can become a melee gauntlet in robot form.
