mooncake623 wrote:So for Bovis is there a trick to lock in it's front legs in Beast mode? I can't seem to get them to lock in. used a lot of force too. most of the transformation is smooth and seamless which makes me think there's got to be a trick? anything?
thanks in advance.

There are the two tabs that need to go around a tab on the body side. It is a little bit finicky. That would likely be my only complaint about the figure. I'll try to take some pics or a video this weekend and demonstrate.

Awesome thanks! I see the tabs but I just can't get them in. Hmm.. I'm not talking about locking in the legs to the body, more about locking in those tabs at the beast mode front legs "elbows?" you are suppose to tab it in and lock it.
from the image you can see that it is not locked in but you should be able to no?

"Should be" is maybe too strong as poses like this action shot look cool without them tabbed in. But they can, indeed, be. That was what I was talking about, yes.

I'm going to take some pics and maybe record a vid in the next couple of hours, Mooncake.

Cheers!
megatronus wrote:Razorclaw looks great. What really clinches the genius of this mold is the mane - MMC is the only company to really nail the mane in such a way that it's not too big in bot mode, but expands to "just-right" in gestalt mode.
Also, thanks for the video Agamemnon. Didn't realize you were a Darth... respect!

william-james88 wrote:So that would also be the case for Predaking, who is also six members.
It's more than just the legs being altered, although that is the most visibly noticeable difference. Lots of locking tabs and joints were reworked to ensure stability in combined mode, including support for 6-man-mode with Talon on the back. And yes, the delay was just long enough that we couldn't guarantee release before Chinese new year. It's not a situation we wanted, but it was more important that Feral Rex combined be as solid as possible.
Actually, this delay should result in a much tighter release schedule post CNY.

^--This, and emphasis mine! I am all for delaying to produce something truly awesome! It's nice to know what is going on over at MMC. With FP, it's a lot of guess work...

Banjo-Tron wrote:I really don't mind the wait. All good things and all that. My gripes with Bovis so far would be that he is a bit to large for my tastes, plus I really am not a fan of his headsculpt, or the paintjob on it. The rest of the figure is really decent.
