In similar fashion with the two previous Disney Label figures, Disney Label Buzz Lightyear will be getting a monochrome paint job. Thanks to a pre-order page from valued site sponsor BigBadToyStore, we find out that the figure is set for release in July this year. Regular Buzz Lightyear will be released in the month of June.

Oh they had to do a monochrome version...with the crap that my monochrome Donald was (parts falling off left and right), I am not sure if I want this, but it is black and grey.

Okay, this one makes no sense. If they absolutely had to do a redeco of this figure, it should have been into the Evil Buzz Lightyear from the negative universe, as seen in the cartoon series. He was a hardcore villain (and had beard, too).

That cartoon was definitely fun some times, but I do agree with you. Or at least paint the mustache on him...

Ridiculous. Now I suppose someone is gonna tell me who this product is aimed at, right? Well I'm pretty certain little kids arn't gonna want a b&w Buzz, while adult collectors are gonna look at this and wonder why they would want to put a wrong color Buzz on their shelf. Of course there's people who will buy absolutely anything, but I see tons of these sitting in stores for a very long time.
