Over the weekend, I listened to Moonbase 2's podcast interviews with Andy Schmidt and Mike Costa, totaling close to four hours.

It's a great set of interviews spotlighting the current run of Transformers comics. After listening to these, it makes me go back and re-read the run. For example...

-Mike points out each story arc's chapter titles reference books such as military science fiction or noir science fiction.
-Mike mentions why Thundercracker wants to watch the television in issue 18. He's been absorbing Earth culture through television since the initial arc, which I completely forgot about.
-Andy said that when he wrote the Spotlight: Metroplex issue, he planned Metroplex was protecting something important but allowed Mike to create what that would be. In the Ironhide mini-series, we learned that Metroplex was protecting Alpha Trion. I have that issue but never read it until I heard the interview, which made me dig it out.
