Wow. Big clear pictures. Way to go!

On picture #2, i see the legs and feet hitting the wings before it goes under. Not a big problem for now. But is there a way to avoid that?

Uhm... i have a bit of a comment on your photos.

I could be wrong. But it seems you may not have transformed his thighs correctly, or incomplete.

I notice in the middle picture, before the feet goes under the wings, i can see the screws near the crotch area. Which only means, in jet mode, you'll still see the screws just under the tail.

From the pictures i've seen, and the picture on the box, it should be the golden "<" on the upside. For each thigh. The screw should go under.

What do you think?

No wonder you don't see scrapings. Because you didn't transform that part to come right side up.

yeah i noticed that when i was transforming it. I tried it both ways and it didnt matter or make a difference. It just depends on if you want his alt mode to show screws, or his robot mode to show screws. You could always have it facing the gold way, but you would need to twist it everytime.

Yeah. My thigh connections are way too tight. And you can't avoid scraping if you want to turn the gold upwards.

Probably if i be really really careful, i can manage to avoid that.

But that is my complaint. Design flaw. Parts should not eat each other up in normal transformations. Unless you use excessive force in clearly the wrong way.

But turning the thigh joints can eat up the pants in almost every way a novice like me do it, without using excessive force, and without even knowing it. Partly because the pants are too thin and gave way easily. The transformation can just stop if the pants are thick enough, and we would have noticed.

Or the instructions can come with a clear warning about weak points.

Well, its the trade off we have made since G1. g1 was tough, durable and horrible looking lol. Transformers since have become more delicate, but much more detailed.

Lmao! I didnt make them bigger on purpose! Imageshack did it iself! I shrunk them down in the first place because i thought it would be rude to post huge pics.

If you straighten the legs a bit more, at the waist, they should slide right under the wings. You may need to lift the wing a bit or move the foot.

Yeah same here. That need for accuracy has made me wait for leaderclass brawl. I hope to god for a voyager bonecrusher

I couldn't wait. I made the mistake of buying DLX Brawl. Oh well, live and learn, and then get Luvs.

Well I bought Megatron yesterday and I don't regret it. I touched up his face with chrome silver and highlighted some details on him, but that's as far as I will go. Otherwise he is really fun in robot mode if you ask me, and indeed to me the most powerful Decepticon ever. Took the spring out of the fusion cannon and now it works okay, awesome when it's fully deployed.

He's also got a 'super mode' like Galaxy Convoy - just fold out the back wings that were intended for the Cybertron jet mode. They should lock into place.

Booyah! Even bigger LEader robot mode for ya!

Well I'm certainly glad you enjoy him! I havent touched up the face at all yet. I'm not sure what color to use. Silver would only make sense if he was all silver.

If you ask me, some silver on his face to make his mouth actually visible is fine. Nothing wrong with that. In fact leaving some of the original colours gives him more variety of colours, if you don't mind movie inaccuracy - then again, the figure itself is not accurate enough to the movie rendition anyhow so... I mean, big wings? Red spikes? You know the drill.

Thanks for your input guys, I hope this discussion continues, even if it is just bitching about Megatron. I for one think my Megatron is a big 'Yes' amongst my small collection of 14 Transformers ( ), alongside Leader Prime. This universe's Megatron has grown on me so much already that I have written a chapter only about him and Prime's relation in my fanfic.

Don't feel bad bout only having 14 TF. Transformers are expensive toys and alot of us have been at it for years. My collection didnt explode untill I was 16 and got my first Job! And well, now i'm 24 lol. Just be wary about bad TF.

Haha I'm not being too serious - I think I love my small collection as much as someone else loves his 100+ Transformers. BUT, I will admit my only regret is not starting this hobby when Cybertron was out.

I don't think I have any bad TF so far, except for Signal Flare. I am happy with all my other ones.
