It depends on if that parapraxis was due to some kind of subdued wish, an opression of some kind, or something else. Let me ask you, as a child, did you have any issues with gold plastic syndrome? Or even wanted to punch a mime because Hasbro refused to put out a decent Arcee toy? Kidding.

Besides that, I can pretty much reassure you that their goal is to give the fans a version of Ultra Magnus that is based on the Scramble City: Mobilization, Movie, 2010, and Headmasters series. No promise that it will come with a scaled-down version of the coffin used when they had buried him. But we may hear about a "Diaclone" variant and/or a e-HOBBY "Dan" variant (as they have not updated his story since 2010).

But for me, I also have not bothered seeking out any Masterpieces. I would have for Grimlock, I now can only hope for a reissue... Much like I now do with C-06 Skyfire. But with him, he definitely fits the Headmasters portion of my collection. (I have a few guidelines for how I am collecting that.) So unless he becomes way too expensive, or I have something else that keeps me from ordering it, he will definitely become my first.

The teaser pic reminds of "Who's that Pokemon" from the cartoon series when I was a kid lol. Hopefully, it's not a remold...

So are we any closer with identifying MP15. I keep reading Ultra Magnus. Is there any definitive proof to back this up or is this just speculation at this point?

There is quite a bit, but you have you to get past the "great" "What drove Galvatron insane?" debate. (It was Sabrblade. Kidding.) Because we do have photos of them showing a MP-11 Convoy in mock-up armor and them saying that they were designing a new MP version of Ultra Magnus.

Oh, and MP-2 Ultra Magnus looks like a white Convoy.

I just preordered what was listed as MP-15 on BBTS, Ravage & Rumble.

yup, either BBTS got the wrong info or 4chan got it wrong. Glad that MP-15 will be new molds.

I'm happy, I was hoping it wasn't gonna be another year before we got some more cassettes for Soundwave. Since I switched to MP's being my only official product, I'm happy to have a break from higher priced larger figures. I'll also be really happy if they plan to MP every cassette, even the Dino's, that would be fantastic, and IO'd buy everyone, including any autobots.

Especially if Magnus maybe on the Horizon.

Besides, I have three good reasons why I am glad that my speculations are wrong:

1) I like being surprised at the cost of being wrong. It means that unless some jackhole chooses to be a "I am right, you are wrong" type, I get to invest more interest in the item.

2) I am intellectual, which means for me that I get to learn more about the company making it and see where they are going with their lines.

3) Even if I was correct, I'd still have to opt out on getting it at this time due to the fact that I need to save up for my 2013 trip, need to submit my current collection to AFA, and "Encore" Twincast is a post-vintage priority as we speak.

Doesn't mean we won't be getting an Ultra Magnus soon. I was pretty certain these would be upcoming, considering they already made little prototypes of them. Glad Soundwave will be getting his minions, but I am really hoping they don't skip out on Buzzsaw, or only sell him with a Soundblaster repaint. Don't need Soundblaster, MUST have Buzzsaw.

How is that trolling even I was hoping it was ultra Magnus and that site posted a shadow of a mp-10 which was way off. And it's not like it was my opinion everyone was wrong and I just thought it funny after that crazy conversation about what prime it might be that's it.

Seriously. I was all gung-ho about Sideswipe until the Fort Max news hit. That sucker is going to take a few months to save up for & I'm currently gathering what I need to buy MP Soundwave. So unless Sides sticks around for a while it seems all hopes of owning him are dashed, other than the secondary (ebay) market, of course.

Doh!

Watch them come out with Sunny in the next year or two. That'd be a wee bit depressing if I don't have Sides >.<

My guess is that the next cassette pack will be Frenzy and Buzzsaw. Both already have molds and it will not take much to get them out quickly after Ravage and Rumble. I'd say we could have a decent army of cassettes by the summer. Laserbeak, Ravage, Rumble, Frenzy, Buzzsaw. All we really need after that is Ratbat, who would probably come with a Soundblaster repaint.

But anyways is it just me or is $60 a little to much for 2 cassettes that fit in a masterpiece chest?

Trust me. I used to be a moderator as well on another site, and know how not easy it is. Which is why I try to give them a break by being 100% compliant, as that was the complete opposite of what I received back then. Then again, being here is slightly more PG than what I am used to. But that is in the past.

Besides... My initial return here has me defending myself more than actually discussing the subject at hand. A complete opposite of what made me want to start a new account and have a fresh, new beginning. So my advice to you is not always go with what your gut says. Always brush it off, tell them you hope they are joking, and try to keep the conflict private. The mods will thank you for it, and it'll make you be better than those who think they are too good to put logic before their own ignorance-backed egos.

As for the question... I want to say "yes" to the idea. But we currently do not know how big Soundwave will be. Plus, we do not know how articulated these tapes are, how detailed they are, what accessories they come with, and so on. So for the time being, I have to say "no" on account that they are both Japanese imports and something we have yet seen in person.

Plus, also, MP-16 is Rumble and Buzzsaw! Which means that unless they do an MP version of Blaster, hey migh go as far as the 2010 line with these!

Oh... And the photo was correct. It is based on an upcoming Masterpiece, and this one will surprise you (as it surprised me, seeing it means more Japanese G1 history being squeezed in): It is MP-10 Black Convoy. And...... done. BBTS has MP-16 up for preorder, Buzzsaw & Frenzy. I'm just glad that MP-15 & MP-16 are coming out at the same time. I imagine a lot of people, myself included, consider the blue cassette to be Rumble(as per the cartoon) and would want that first over the black and red(who I see as Frenzy). I can't wait for both of these sets.

Also MP-10B, black Optimus Prime, or Nemesis Prime.

I'm just anxious to see what the next Autobot car mould will be, I'm hoping for Ratchet/Ironhide or Prowl/Bluestreak/Smokescreen/(and with a couple tweaks)Jazz.

That is the funny thing. A lot of the people these days follow the cartoon canon, even though the comic and toy canon predate it. Because with both, it was Rumble was listed as red, and so on. That, and the Japanese animated version had it the way the toys were listed. But I guess that is what you get when you have a Symbiote costumed Spider-Man making an appearance, Grimlock becoming Supreme Commander of the Autobots before becoming a dictator of sorts, and other goodies that are not toy buying friendly.

Then again... Could you picture what would have happened if Sam Raimi and Michael Bay were able to green light a Spider-Man/Transformers crossover movie? .....

I just go by whatever the particular medium says.

Ya I read about mp10-b earlier today I just really hope they find a way to do Magnus the right way and make a v2 of megatron. I'm really tired of mp-5 towering over everyone also I want skywarp in the mp-11 mold. I did a head swap with an extra hasbro mp thundercracker I took his head and painted the eyes yellow and put it on my mp skywarp. It makes SW look a lot better but I still don't like the hip kibble it doesn't look as good as idw made it look in the ongoing series lol.

There were pictures of MP Soundwave next to MP10 Convoy somewhere on the internet. Soundwave will be slightly shorter than Prime (basically he'll be the same height as MP Grimlock).
