I like speculating and I want to hear what you all think about what MP 20 is going to be.

Takara in a recent interview hopes to put out two huge and two smaller MP releases a year. Given that and that MP 10 is Optimus, I am thinking MP 20 will be a Megatron 2.0. I hope it comes with stock and silencer. I am also hoping it has some sort of playability with Laserbeak (like the clear tab on Soundwave). The other accessory they need to fix is the energon flail. I think that once this happens along with revisions to MP 5 we will have a great display-mate with MP 10. Thoughts? Wishes? Speculation that it might be another dude and if so who?

I really hope it is Megatron, but I have a feeling it is going to be someone else...

My bet was on Shockwave, but 3rd party beat them to the punch...

I think it would be a great big relief if is was actually Bee. Bee needs to happen, but most people don't think it will happen, and it is hard for me to go all in on the MP line if one of their most popular characters of that series isn't made.

One that I would love, but might not ever happen, is Reflector.

I want it to be a proper Megatron, but word on the street has long been Galvatron is the next 'big' MP release. Was hoping they'd switch it up and do Megs, but rumors are it's still slated to be Galvatron...which is lame. I want a Galvatron, but I don't want him any time soon. My MP display is currently a total mess without a proper Megatron. Galvatron won't fix that...he'll just add to the mess.

People who think its Shockwave still getting the thirdparty shockwave or holding out for an official release? Looks like popular belief is Ultra Magnus, Megatron 2.0, Galvatron, or Shockwave, which only means it'll won't be any of them! =X

I suspect #20 will be a big release of an important character, not a repaint.

I'm hoping for Megatron, myself, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Galvatron.

I don't think it will be Shockwave, so I did get the 3P release.

Because Hastak doesn't hold the rights to the original design, it may be dicey for them to create a design that, by the very nature of the MP line, would have to be derivative. I think there are enough other characters for them to choose that a G1 style Shockwave would be far from the top of the list.
Or they could obtain some form of license like they do for the cars ... who knows?

God, I hope we get an official Shockwave...Quakwave is good, but I think they could do a better job, especially with the colors.

If they were smart they would do Galvatron.... weren't there multiple 3rd parties with MP Galvatron's in the works???

If they don't go forward with Galvatron I feel someone else will might beat them to it?

i was going to go into this long speech of how megatron is gone and became galvatron, whereas essentially megatron is dead. but my arguement fell apart when i realized so is sideswipe, prowl,smokescreen, all the original seekers and a few others. so i guess galvatron isnt the most logical choice, but id like one none the less. also takara stated they already have a new megatron in design as well as ultra magnus... so lets see what happens shall we?

I thought that Hasbro owned the rights to the cartoon show. They should legally be able to design Shockwave based off that.

it would be nice if it was v2 megs or magnus just to get them out of the way and move onto other possibilities.

I've often felt characters like Ironhide and Bumblebee would be great ideas.

Arcee would be a no brainer.

I still want proper TT MP-11 mold TC and SW. Hasbro's TC is mediocre.

I still want Megatron v2 first, though. I can't do anything decent with my MP shelves till I have a proper Megatron.

everyone that cant seem to put their figures on a shelf unless you have megatron, make a cardboard cutout and write on it "place Megatron here"

Juiciest rumor (rumor) (RUMOR!) I heard was that Galvatron will be 19 and Smokescreen will get pushed to 20. Or, Galvatron may be 20 but come out before 19 (like with Red Alert/Soundwave).

Either way, the RUMORS AND BULLSHIT I hear say that Galvatron is next, with a reprint of MP-11 to go along with it.

I hope these rumors are true!
