:D :D Thank goodness, I'm not the only one that is having this problem. I abandoned the alt.mode and now just leave him in robot mode, ehheehe. The darn upper and lower arm can't seem to align propertly. I took off the part too, agrrr, and I still have problem. I also don't like the shoulder joint clipping onto the little square peg of the socket; too rigid.

The figure as a whole look great. The thigh didn't look as bad as what was seen on the internet pic. I guess, it's one of those figures that look better in person. It definitely looks awesome.

yaaay!! i got it!!

i spent god knows how long transforming him into gun mode and then realized i had no batteries for the camera so there he remains until i can take pics and transform him back.

its quite the task getting everything to line up properly. plus everything was kinda stuck from being brand new. i still dont think the handle is quite clipped together properly.

but it still seems like it'll be an interesting figure and one i warm up to much quicker than starscream. he feels a bit flimsy and cheap but overall, i like him. i havent trie to pose him or anything and all his side bits kept popping off while transforming.

its not as great as prime but the only thing that could make it better is heftier plastic or more die cast. i have no issue with color scheme or design.

THIS is a masterpiece.

oh yeah, i also got kremzeek perched on primes shoulder. just for now but its kinda entertaining that way.

After tripping all over the island, I finally found a TRU that had one in stock. The guy at the service counter was cool enough to grab one from the back for me.

Damn nice figure.

I'm still waiting on my preorder at BBTS. This will be my first Masterpiece purchase, and I can't imagine a better figure to start with.

I never ordered him, but I think you you made a smart decision there.

Also waiting for BBTS.

My DVD Prime is on the way, my MP03 has been here a few weeks now, and MP05 will mark the completion of the trio :)

I'm using the MPs, Alts, BTs and various Robotech/Macross toys I have to make one big "masterpiece" series :) They all look really good together... especially Starscream as commander of the Macross Air Fleet :)

The original Megatron had them too. I have no idea what they were for then, either.

I heard once that they were handles for the gun emplacement mode from the original Microman version so the microman figures could use it, and that in this release they're simply an homage to that... could be wrong though

Anyway, mine's getting ordered first thing tomorrow morning, I, who have only ever owned two Megatrons (Armada and Beast Machines... ouch) need a representation of G1 Megs, and this looked to be about the best way to get one. This will aslo mark my first Masterpiece figure, since I never had money to get Convoy or SS.

Except apparently he couldn't...because it wasn't for lack of trying. :-? Too many examples to list, but he finally was able to toss the highly damaged and very energy depleted Megatron away.

Please note Starscream did not do the damage.

The gun mode was not a bad concept, however, he should have had a third gun emplacement mode, for all the naysayers and unbelievers. :P Megatron made others feel useful due to his alt mode, even if he never really needed them at all. 8)

I'll have to wait until we either get a release on this Continent, or I save up a little more cash. Maybe I'll have enough to snag one if I see him at Botcon.

I'm kind of eager to know if your cap will be removable. I mean, I hope it is, but it will be nice to know once and for all if they are gluing them in.

Wal-Mart!
