I never knew Rhinox was such a popular character, like Optimus & Soundwave, therefore justifying another version release in such a short time period.

While I wouldn't dispute the popularity of my personal favourite Maximal. I think it also comes down the the fact that this (Predacon version) was the only variation he had in all of Beast Wars. Plus it happened in Season One, which falls within the remit of the MP Beast Wars line.
