Yeah, no kidding.I can't shell out $200 bucks on one fig, even if it is Rodimus. Hopefully Hasbro will release him around next summer.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

It's $200.
Before you go into full blown complaining mode, allow me to direct your attention to the following note on the pre-order:BBTS Pre-Order wrote:PLEASE NOTE: The pricing of this item is subject to change (most likely lower), once the retail pricing in Japan is known, we will calculate and adjust our pricing. The high price indicates one thing...it's going to be a large piece, most likely with the trailer.

Oh yeah, cos Grimlock came with a hefty price tag and he is huge.

The oil gouging thing is pretty accurate. Grimlock did come out when petro products were at peak price, which affected those products at that time. However I don't think we are going to see the prices go back down any. While Rodimus might not end up being $200, you can bet that it won't be cheaper than $150. If it is larger/more complex than Grimlock I think we can expect it to be north of $175.

I expect Rodimus to be around the $175-200 mark. I expect that he'll be a large figure due to the trailer etc.
Mykltron's point was that Grimlock was both expensive and on the small side for the price. He was snarkily pointing out in a contrary way that price isn't an indicator of size. Grimlock was $150, Rodimus is a possible $200.
All I was saying is that there were definitve reasons for Grimlock's cost and that the inclusion of the trailer is a hint that the figure will be of a larger size at least in terms of mass, and that is tied in to price point.
