is the torso supossed to tightly lock in when slid down into the hips in bot mod? I see the tab and where its supossed to go but it just kinda sits there...

It's supposed to fit pretty snugly. Make sure you have the bottom of the canopy pushed back far enough and it should snap right into place.

Not on mine the tab just rests against the cockpit but it never actually locks in... the torso slightly slides up and the cockpit moves forward or back will positioning the figure. i keep having to push the torso down and alligning the tab into the cockpit but it doesnt hold by the tab. just by friction on the die-cast rails...

if i accidentally turn the wait it dislodges the tab from the cockpit aswell... Kind of anoying thats all

Yeah, it's not stable at all. Make sure you've got the plate in the middle of his hip section swung all the way forward.
