small update !! the nose of the car has been shrunk about an inch !! it,s because i,ve been able to build a lower leg colapsable system....so she,s starting to look more like she should !!

I think anemis' creation looks great. Alot of what we all do involves improvising and creativity. Accuracy is nice but has its limits. Especially coming from the animation stand point. If the cartoon was to be taken literally, I think I've observed at least two different transformations for hotrod.

I'm with just enjoying what you all come up with.

well actually for now i,m concentrating on production !! (have orders to do.....) but i'll come back to her as soon as i can and i'll complete this project !! (and i have some nifty ideas as well !!)

well an update !!!

i,ve completly re-designed her chest piece and it all works !!!
it,s also a bit smaller ... hands have been put on ... allot more coming soon !!

Oh, sweet! The thing splits open in the back, now. Pretty cool. Looks like it fills out the back a lot more now.

well here are a few changes... the eyes and face change a bit ...also side plates are on.... also notice that none of the wheels are apparent !!! took some doing too !! i,m really please with the way things are going !!!

here is a couple of picture of elita-1 alternate mode that i think you will like !!

also here are some comparison pics of the g1 episode "search for alpha trion" where we see her for acouple of seconds in alternate mode.... you can see that i,m not far off !!!

This seriously keeps getting better with each update. You've matched up pretty closely to the cartoon style, too. And I like that metallic pink; not so bright, yet...er..."girlish," for lack of a better term.

And its far better seeing this beauty develop than listen to people try to force their opinions on each other. I used to dread viewing this thread and have been passing it over for the last couple of weeks....I'm glad I came back to it....This looks amazing!!
My only problem with it is that is denying us updates to his Metroplex!!

wow, that car mode looks much more solid than I was ever expecting it to. I figured it would look like cybertron... what was her name? overdrive? anyways, you did a great job at making it look like something other than a robot laying down. And it really does look like her in bot mode as well.

thanks !! i,m trying really hard to have her as perfect as possible
well i have a new pic... she,s almost finished ... still have a bit of paint left to do... and there are new additions in car mode that i will be making soon... but for now here it is !!

She looks amazing! You can barely tell she has an alt mode when she's in robot mode which is really cool.

hey thanks guys !

yeah your right devestator it,s hard to see that she transforms and that,s one thing that i really wanted to do.... because elita-1 is one of thoses caracters that gives no clue whatsoever about her alternate form... if she has any ... in cartoons or otherwise... that,s one aspect that i wanted to include and that,s why it ,s taken so long to build her.... the technical challenges for her was as high as my mp-xx megatron or even higher... the car mode will look very nice because there will be no visible gap between the body and arms.... (that,s the next surprise

)

finally !!!

here are the pictures of the alt mode completed and painted... the only thing left to do is to finish the parts of the car that make weapons.... that,s already started but i have a couple of snags to fix ...

That is amazing!! I wish that Hasbro would look at some of these works of art that you guys all do and take some notes..Yes you guys really deserve a tip of the hat for your attention to detail and overall transformation and appearance of the figues!

i think she does come togheter very well in car mode....
also i have some comparison shots of prime/elita ... some close-up with more lights to see the facial features.....
