I sense a "kitbasher of the month award" coming to you, Mark. ;)
(To put it mildly.)

This is shaping up very very well. 8)

P.S.
Did I just notice Megatron having a Matrix chest compartment?

Seeing it in gun mode, it's kind of reminiscent of the Tiny Bee from Final Fantasy, only cooler.
Very impressive.

I was asking myself.. how is he holding up in gunmode?
Do all the joints stay in line under all that weight?

yep it does and that,s the beauty of it... gravity actually helps allot on holding the gun in position.... also i,ve almost finished with the trigger and the "o" ring surrounding it ... it differs a bit on how it was suppose to insert itself into the transformation but now it,s working amazingly well.... pics will follow tonight

Fantastic work!

Actually, with the legs/grip angled back like that and the position of the chestpiece, it reminds me of another iconic character with a gun mode. Have you thought about doing a remould as Shockwave?

that one i did think about doing but at this point i,m not sure if it would spark as much interest then megatron does....but it,s a defenit possibility....i,ll need to re-immerse myself with the toy, cartoons, drawings ... in other words study all that concerns galvatron as i did for megatron....but it,s possible....

well as promised here are the pictures of the trigger (really a pain in the butt to design and position...) it still needs a bit of work but it,s generally what i wanted ....

That's mightely impressive, Mark.

One question:
Where do the halves of the boots and the feet go?
As far as I can tell you just leave them off in gun mode..

well the feets actually go at the rear top of the gun....at this point it needs to be detached but might be changed if i find a way tho do it... as for the other half of the legs ... they,ll be rework to make the lower extension of the handle...

thanks for the great comments !! well the trigger has been a somewhat pain in the ass type of solution... not an easy one as i had hope but it works... everything needed to work togheter... not an easy task....this is defenitly not a project for anyone who has no patience or doesent have nerves of steels....i was at the edge of a breakdown a couple of times lol

as for a mp galvatron, i might attemp the experience.... but next year... i have allot of work ahead of me....there is also a possibility of a mp shockwave like some suggested using pretty much the same basic design as my mp megatron....

And you HAVE to get this produced in volume somehow! No MP Magnus armour situation again!

Sure you've thought of this, but are you going to put some foldup panels on his legs to cover the joint there in gun mode?

And would it be possible to have his feet fold up into the underside of his legs there, or are they too big for that?

This thing is so sweet. I would definately love to have one.

well i,ve finnaly found the right way to make the feets fold up and insert the lower leg section..... but i have to make some adjustments because it affects the look of the rear of the gun where the feet were.... but i have already something planned ;)

as for pics .... i will be posting them soon ..as soon as i,ve finished with the feet

cool to hear!! Though one or two parts that have to swing to another place wouldnt make this a less incredible bot .. finding a solution is awesome.

why not just have the lower-legs rotate around a "bone"? the feet are already near the handle, they just happen to be near the "top". hmmm... I can't think of a TF that does something like that, to use as an example. basically, the lower-leg in alt mode is upside-down, with the foot hanging off near the knee. the lower-leg rotates around so it's no longer upside-down, and now the foot is on the other side of the leg from the knee.
I shoulda mentioned it as soon as I saw. :S
