Woah! I wasn't expecting anything else! Great job! You blew me away the first time, and now you've already got me anxious to see the Energon Axe!

heres the latest, now i really researched this as i wanted to get this part right, so after a bit of research, i found some live glow perspex, it glows in daylight, using the compound its made from, so i cut my basic axe shape, bigger one side, this had to be made from 2 pieces, then glued together, then i wanted to give this axe some energon pulsing through this,so i used my pyrography tool(wood burning) and using heat i engraved some lightning through the middle and edges, i then flatted the perspex with some 400 grit sand paper to bring the effect out and to give the axe another shade, I then used a orange tint tube, which come from some blowing bubbles, i cut a slit into this, and epoxied the axe in place, now i've got to build the ball part of the axe, here's the latest pics

axe is now finished, the first thing i had to do was build the lower half so that it would screw into the hands slots on prime, the so i bought another bubble blower and used this handle as it was nice and sturdy, i cut the old handle down so i kept the screw in part, i drilled a hole through the handle and epoxyed the bolt in,followed by the top part of on the handle i kept, to get the ball shape i used 2 fake security cameras from my local poundland, these were cut to shape and epoxyed on , then i wanted to get a ball of fire look, as if energon was flowing through this axe, so i engraved loads of grooves over the ball, i then added a coat of yellow glass paint,, for the spikes, the lids of superglue were used, ive been saving these for a while, they were epoxyed on,and finally i then dusted a bit of black on,followed by 3 shades of orange, i then gently dusted the black up the stalk of the axe, heres the pics

another update, extra detail added to the matrix, and the ball part now in colour and weathered, now to get the paint for the inside, a glow in the dark blue, then to start work on the crystal part,

I can't imagine the kind of effort and skill this has taken. I'm jealous, quite frankly. I'm a mechanic and an engineer, and I cannot see myself pulling off something like this. You've been blessed with, as the kids say, mad skillz. congrats and thanks for sharing.

well its been a while, what with the summer hols and kids etc, the crystal part, was the part i wanted to get right, the first thing was to find a ball shape that was not only the right size, but could be taken to pieces and light to, after a good search, i stumbled upon a toy vending machine, (you know the sort were you stick your dosh in and pull the handle.) well after a few goes,as some of the balls were cracked, plus the queue of kids was starting to form behind me,LOL!! i got one, i ordered some blue(aqua) gems and started to stick them on with epoxy, nearly a 1000 gems later, i was done, had to have a pit stop, doughnut and a cuppa, then to do the lights, i found a headband that had flashing leds in on a switch, changed the flashing leds over to a bright white, cut to fit inside the ball and i as done, PHEWWW!!!!
a quick mock up with the matrix, lights on,and off, heres the pics
enjoy

Now, I have a question. Do you think you could make another matrix and send it to a little town in Tennessee for me?
Haha, I can just see myself running around through the streets singing Stan Bush and opening this thing over my head... Seriously though, it looks perfect, man!

ive now started the final part of this mammoth build, primes display base, its been made of 2 layers, the bottom layer hollow as im going to back light it from underneath! the top layer will be covered in mirror styrene, panels like the base of cybertron will cover the top and small slots in the base will allow the light to poke through, and the big autobot badge will sit in the middle,
