Thanks. I've been contemplating getting a tat for awhile now and decided it was time to do so. Found a really great place 15 minutes down the road and it was the owner who did mine.

It is funny because at the end he said, "I'll see you later. Tattoos are like potato chips; you can't have just one." and now I'm already thinking about what to get as my second.

good ink.like preda,...as long,you get what you want..and it's
all complimentary. have a few inks..never had to cover anyone up..

no names,or girlfriend's name's...unless it's tf,or art character.
been an advise passed to me.

He's right. The second my first one was done, I called my bank to see how much money I had. Sadly, I didn't have enough money to get another one. I still only have one tattoo, but ever since then(its been little over exactly a year now, got it on 12-31-07) I've been dying for another one. Just don't have the money

Mine cost $80. I gave the guy a $20 tip, so in total I spent $100. I've looked at the inks and equipment costs, its a reasonable price. Never go to someone's house to get a tattoo. No matter what anyone says, its just stupid to do that.

Be careful...it's addicting as hell. I started with one, in one year I had four, and now I'm up to 17, and three of those are big tribal pieces. the only space I have left is my lower left arm...I'm saving that for a mural of a Wing Zero Gundam, G1 Megatron, and a VF-1S from Macross. Maybe an Eva 01 also, if I have room.

I have three (or four, if you count the mirror image one on the other side of my chest as two), and I have to say it really is worth a bit more to go to a well known artist, not just a legal shop.

One of mine got ripped off in an accident (right upper arm) but even before that, the inks had been starting to feather and blue. I'd gotten that in a 'decent' shop in California. Think the guy called himself 'Spud'.

The ones on my chest were done by Bill Claydon himself and show no signs of fading/feathering/bluing, etc. The ink depth is perfectly even, and they healed faster and better than any of my others. And he didn't charge much more than anyone else (he kept knocking down the price, probably because I had to be topless for him to do the work!)

Just my measly cents.
