The first one was great.

I am a huge G1 fan BUT I can appreciate what Bay did with the first one.

Well said. I agree completely. Nobody ever said Bay had to recreate G1. It's his movie, he's getting paid to do what he wants, not what the fans want.

And if anyone here still doesn't like what's being done, there's a very, very, very simple solution to that: Don't see it. Stay home and watch the '86 movie if that's what floats your boat.

I'm looking forward to this even more than the first one 8)

They are "sci-fi-monsters" I won't buy any rotf figures. Soundwave lmao doesn't even look familiar does he??? Am I wrong? (so let down) Soundwave enough was reason 4 sequel. I have a hint he's in the film for less than 1 minute screentime. IF in it at all

the head sculpt give u any clue? :P and that's what they're supposted to be; aliens what where u expecting? Don't you think some people would complain if they looked exactly like G1? Again they're aliens not robotic people.

I like the realistic look. People complain about how ugly they look, but it does make sense on a few levels.

I also think its good that they're making new characters. Everyone was up in arms over Jazz, but no one really wept for Bonecrusher, Brawl, or Blackout. If they used only beloved G1 characters, there'd be a fan riot when one is inevitably killed, as comic/cartoon movies often do.

Think about it...if Soundwave had actually been in the first movie, he would have probably died. Imagine the riotous complaints.

I just wanna see the movie. Everybody I know wants to see the movie. The only people disapointed are us, the hardcore fans. How could the Dinobots work? How about Magnus & Hot Rod's poor leadership skills?
I would love to see more Decepticon interaction, but I just can't see them carrying on a convo, like, "Hey Starscream, wanna come over later & play Rock Band?" & the way they look, yeah, they are aliens, from outer space. I just deal. Then I imagine what a scale version of Prime's leg looks like, G1 style. Boring. We will enjoy Bay's movie. We have nothing else to be proud of. Toys & memories. That's all. Bless you Michael Bay, bless you.
