You know, I can actually see these doing well. There's a market for them. My 4 year grand-daughter loves playing with my transformers (the ones that I know she can't break, at least), but at the same time, she's not exactly into the "action" aspect of it.

She likes her ponies and her shopkins and all that--so merge the two, and you've got a market for young girls and young boys that aren't looking for "war toys" if you catch my drift.

Well that's odd but kinda cute. Depending on how the actual toys look I miiiiiiiiiiiight buy a few for kitsch and novelty. Especially the coffee mug and penguin. Maybe they could do Fries, Burger, and a Mastershake!

In connection to the 3rd quarter call, Hasbro has unveilled their new Transformers line, Botbots! These are 1 inch Transformers which turn from robot to a variety of every day objects (like Doughnuts and cameras) in 3-5 steps. There will be 61 unique characters to collect. Hasbro sent us official images as well as the fiction regarding this new line (found in bold below). You will also see a full product description with a variety of price points depensing on which kind of set you get. Some are blind bagged like the basic single figure, but when you get a collection you know some of the figures you’re getting but there’s still a surprise one in there as well.

Each BotBots character belongs to a themed team based on what kind of store they belong in.

There are 61 unique 1-inch characters to collect in the first series of BotBots, each with their own individual personality. Like all Transformers, the characters change from an ordinary object into a little robot in just 3-5 easy steps.

The BotBots all belong to different tribes, inspired by product types you might find in a shopping mall, including the "Sugar Shocks" (sweet treats), the "Backpack Bunch" (school equipment), the "Toilet Troop" (bathroom items), the "Techie Team" (electronic gadgets), the "Greaser Gang" (fast food), the "Shed Heads" (gardening gear), and the "Jock Squad" (sporting goods).
