Oh Man. Speechless.
Up to now, I've always looked at Devastator as a weird hodgepodge of bits that didn't look like it could walk, much less get into a standup fight with Superion. But this picture has changed my mind forever. This is a Devastator that could kick a hole in the side of an aircraft carrier.

It does look realistic, but as realistic and fantastic as it looks it still wouldnt work in a live action movie.
The G1 designs are just so old fashioned now, and these guys are supposed to be highly advanced robots. If people saw these characters looking like this they wouldnt be able to beleive that they are super-advanced alien robots when they look like blocky, dirty, spot-weilded together, imperfect almost human made looking robots.
This old style should just be left alone where it belongs respectfully and loved for what it is and when it was.

Good God. That is the most astounding Devastator pic I have ever seen in my 16 years of existence. It seems like the creator wanted it to be more MP Starscream-ish if you know what I mean. More realistic so it would seem like it could actually exist. You know you'll never see green & purple construction vehicles. This is still amazing. Are you sure this is 3-D? It looks likea real life 70 foot behemoth to me. Simply stunning.
So send it to him & tell him how real G1's can look on the big screen. As if he'll listen to us. Sometimes he still pisses me off.
