Afraid I'm not up on my sniper films. Is it "Saving Private Ryan"? That's one of the few I've seen with a prominent sharpshooter.

I wouldn't call this a sniper film as such, time for some clues methinks.

The film is based on a novel of the same name.

The sniper rifle in the film is very similar to Megatron in the way it can be disassembled into a smaller gun.
