Need help remembering a video

I've been trying to remember the name of this video, it's been bugging me for a while now. It was a VHS I found as a kid, a video guide for a bunch of games for PlayStation, one of which I THINK was an Oddworld game, and one I'm almost 100% sure was a Tomb Raider game. The story was about an gamer, who build a machine, the main feature of which is a brain in a jar, which gives him instructions on how to beat the games. The guy also speaks personally with Lara Croft at one point. I can't remember the name of it, and a lot of the specifics. I figured it would be better to post it here than waste a hour on Google without finding anything, since from what I've seen people here can find the name of what you're looking for immediately. Thanks in advance!

Sounds like something that would've come with a gaming magazine, a promotional thing (It'd have to be with games). Can you think of any big names back then that might've had it produced?

Ah, got it! MTV: GameBrain - Official Playstation Guide I guess I should thank Scatterlung for giving me the idea to look up what year each game came out (all 1997).
I didn't think Final Fantasy VII would be on there, though...
