What bodies and parts could/should I use to make my character?
Here he is.

I know a Soundwave head or Soundwave-like head is needed, but I need some ideas for the rest of the body.

I was considering an Armada Galvatron at one time, but the legs do not move. Articulation is a must.

not sure about the articulation, but what about titanium war within megatron, i just realised he has just the right body structure

How articulated is that one, and how easy is it to paint metal?

Looks articulated enough, even has the shoulder treads.

Looks like I was beaten to the Hulk idea. He's very well articulated.

Hm...going by her shoulders in particular, I'd recommend starting with RiD Prowl as a base figure. It has pretty delicate lines anyway, which should work well for a femmebot.
