Hey everyone,

I've got someone selling Premium Blackout. I really like the mold, however I feel a bit gipped from the original because it has the cockpit flaw (cockpit doesn't flush with the rest of the front of the Helicopter in vehicle mode). Is that fixed in the Premium version?

It's easy to misalign Blackout's cockpit on all versions. You can fix it, although it's tricky. Just force the cockpit in the right position in vehicle mode. Then be careful not to misalign it again when it's transformed.

It's just as easy to mess up Premium Blackout as it is regular Blackout.

There are also a few very helpful tutorials located on Youtube that show you how to eliminate this completely. It's as simple as removing two screws and realigning the gear mechanism.

I've never had this problem or even heard of it before! Misaligned ratchet can normally be forced into the right place without breakage.

What on earth makes you think they'd fix a technical issue on a subsequent release? Has it EVER happened?

Ratchet? I'm talking about Blackout here. And what makes me think things like this get fixed in subsequent releases? Because it happened with Deluxe Deep Desert Brawl.

I think everyone is talking about the ratcheting joint thingy. I've got a Premium and a regular and the Premium looks leagues better. I never had a problem with the cockpit on the regular release, though. It just takes a firm grip and large cahones to get the gears in alignment to work properly. I never opened the premium one, though, because it looked to nice in package.
