Just got an update from Brian at Botcon:

Keep watching BotCon.com these next few weeks as we will be unveiling all of the figures in this year's BotCon set!

We have also completed call back/email confirmations of registration forms. It will take approximately 2 more weeks to finish processing what is in house, so if you have not seen a charge on your card yet, don't worry!

If you faxed in your form and have not heard from anyone, you need to call us 817-448-9863 and ask for Christie as she is the one handling the notifications.

In addition, we invite all Transformer web sites to be a part of BotCon 2007 in Providence, RI.

Here is a sampling of ways to be part of the “spark” this summer:

Faction Feud – The Battle of the Boards

This Transformer trivia game show pits different Transformers web sites against each other in the battle for all Transformers knowledge. Faction Feud was a huge hit at BotCon 2006, so don’t miss out on the chance to compete this year! There are eight slots available for this tournament so sing up ASAP! It will truly be a battle of wits!
How to enter: email Christie@mastercollector.com with your web site’s URL and the 5 names and screen names of your 5-member team. Deadline to enter: June 1, 2007.

Transformer web sites can sponsor (at no cost to the web site) the Video Room. Take this opportunity to thank your members by hosting this fan event.

Interesting idea for the "board" game, too! Can't wait to see the rest of the set revealed. Oddly enough, I'm getting more excited over Bug Bite than the seekers... That may just be me...

I can't wait for this year's Botcon! Out of the six that I've gone to, last year was my favorite. This year looks like it's going to be even better! :grin:

I can't wait to see the rest of the set 'cause that is where the boards are really going to start getting ugly, especially if they don't get the wings on Classics Thrust right.

If they did, I think it hould be everyone against each other live action rpg style in their cardboard style costumes.

Speaking of You Tube, every once in a while I come across those videos of people in their fan created, transformable costumes at conventions and they have a "You got Served" style transformation-off.

Ha, imagine how ugly things will get if they get the wings right! We're doomed either way, because of those who are against these even being Botcon exclusives! :sad:

Just had a conversation with the charming Christie. I have been processed and all the bits and bobs I requested are confirmed. WOOOOT!

There are *just* enough guys from my forum in the UK coming to make up a quiz team. This is going to be awesome.

Finally got my confirmation email today! Even though I got the Iacon package, I am psyched....although I am even more psyched by having another baby (which is why I cant go this year.....)!
