Noteworthy: His chest armor becomes his Targetmaster Firebolt, and Firebolt can interact with the trailer, or become a weapon.

Plus, he is getting a full sized fin that will attach to his back to make him the Rodimus we know and love (or some of us hate).

This is really shaping up to be a terrific set.

P.S. Yes, I added the NEW! to the title. Saves you people time when you newsify it.

Oh, and the release date? Christmas.

Looks nice, but paint would make it look much better. Doesn't give me the same feeling of superfluous joy like I had for the CC upgrade. Still I preordered it anyway because I know it will be a superb toy.

Where is there an open preorder for Protector? None of the stores I know of or use, have one.

You're right. I have so many preorders, I went to both BBTS and TFsource to make sure. Well my mistake, but when it is ready to be preordered, I'll have it.

I'm liking how Protector is shaping up! CC is cool but it's so bulky(an issue with the character design rather than the accessory/toy design). I like how Protector is large but still looks fairly limber. I can't wait to see more updates on this add-on.

That's not how I understood it, I thought the Targetmaster was just a separate part. It doesn't even look like the chest armor becoming a Targetmaster is even possible, unless he's designed to fit in that cutout where the engine shows through.

The pics they posted on their own site awhile back looked better, but these are still nice because they show off new views. Looking forward to this set!

Either way though, it's cool that Firebolt is involved. And that Christmas time is the release date. (Though, they'll probably delay him as well. =\ )

Same here, second hand information. I did see the Targetmaster in one of the images but there was no indication of how he transforms, where he goes, etc, although in the video it's mentioned that he can interact with the trailer.

Yeah, I'm not getting my hopes up for a Christmas release either.
