Why does everyone think WFC Soundwave is going to be the same size as FOC Voyager Soundwave? Are you nuts? The deluxe is WAY too small compared to those pics of the Voyager. Might not be a huge voyager, but it's definitely not near the size of WFC Soundwave.

I'm pretty sure the Minicon that came with Energon Magnus can remove it's post, and I know it can plug into a 5mm hole. Got Cybertron Armorhide hooked up to Armada Overload like that.

As long as FoC Magnus has a 5mm trailer hole, I think it'll work.

Am I he only one that has noticed that the majority of the guns that are packed with the bots are almost exactly like the ones we have seen in game screenshots, not some made up weapon. For example, Starscreams gun looks like the X18 scrapmaker, Kickbacks looks like the Gear shredder, and Sideswipes looks like the Path Blaster.
Just a wild thought is all

I noriced that too. At first, I thought Starscream's weapon was merely two x12 Scrapmakers from WFC. Guess it could still be that in the case that the x18 is in actuality the name of a combo of two x12s. They did say weapons upgrade in FoC.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but upon looking more closely at Fireflight, it seems to me the part w/ the peg hole in vehicle mode becomes his sword in bot mode. Sadly, that means no arm cannon for Fireflight.

That's right. The sword is integrated into his alt mode in a similar way Shocky's arm cannon is integrated into his alt mode.

I actually hope Shockwave is the same size as the deluxes from the last game and that the seekers are slightly smaller. I just hope we are wrong about Bumblebee and Cliffjumper being larger than Magnus and such. We already know that BB & CJ are the exact same size as Optimus and Megs.
Having Shockwave the same size as Megs and Soundwave won't bother me.

shipping, plastic, and labour in china costs are all increasing so why is it a surprise that the bots cost more and are getting smaller? we can complain about the "unreasonable" prices all we want but it wont change the bottum line Hasbro needs to turn a profit. I really don't get the amount of backlash on these toys, they seem to be engineered well(as best as I can tell without them in hand) and have pleasing aesthetics in bot and vehicle mode. nothing Hasbro does seems to please the dissenters so I do not understand why you fallow the products.

the more I see of this magnus and staracream the happier I get. do any other TFs have a hammer that might work with this magnus?

that would work, would be nice if it had a bit more heft to it. don't get me wrong I love his BAS, just would be nice with a hammer as well.

Decent progress but.. as cool as Sideswipe could be I really don't see any sort of canon repaintability. An Ironhide mold would have been a better option, considering we also have the sportscars in Jazz and Bumblebee. I really feel like Hasbro is just going to deviate from the rich character list that they have with WFC/FOC and just do their standard repaint fodder material. I guess I should be happy with what we're getting but still feels like we're heading through a big detour away from the suggested destination.

You feel that Hasbro is going to do more repaints? I thought you knew what was going to be released in the future.
However, since we have Starscream I wouldn't mind repaints of him as the other Seekers. I'd especially like to see Omega Supreme and Trypticon, but Hasbro probably isn't willing to do any big figures any time soon. Why not do Ironhide and Ratchet? There's an easy repaint/retool that would be fairly popular.

If we're not getting the Dinobots, I'd say there's a good chance. Gotta balance 'bots and 'cons at the Voyager level in theory, and Soundwave and Soundblaster are already confirmed.

Not entirely true. They belong to the same Aligned continuity, yes, but not the same timeline. That's the main problem with Aligned, even TFWiki has trouble with it.

It was mentioned at Botcon that this was intentional. Giving the toys in-game weapons was a conscious effort.

Fireflight is supposed to be an homage to the G1 Aerialbot, right?

Do you mean that they are from a later time? If so, wouldn't Cybertron Ratchet be Prime Ratchet eventually? I'm so confused.
