I hate water squirters in toys, but I guess I could just ignore it, this prime looks pretty good so I think I’ll be getting this one.

BTW Blackarchnia and Ratchet are advertised on the box, could that mean they’re part of wave one?

Most likely. All of the "samples" we've seen are either packaged or loose and seem to be the headliners of the show. My guess is, yes. we'll see them in the first wave. (it'd be nice if they were. I'd love the crap out of that. One trip, all owned? Sign me up. lol)

Not to mention, most times (not always iirc) they only cross sell their own wave, maybe the next one, so my guess (again) is wave one.

I want Ratchet bad.

Agreed. Seeing these in the hands of an actual fan and not a promotional set realy helps give a more realistic feel for what these figures actualy would look like in hand.

The comparison shots next to Voyager Movie Prime are great!

I was gonna get the Optimus figures for this line for collectors sake, but these are the first pics that have me actualy wanting it.

But I do have to ask, is this the same Prime that will be freatured in the Megatron 2 pack, or is that the Deluxe version?

1. Does he support the huge ax without the arm drooping down?

2. Does he hold the deluxe's toy securely?

!. Yes he does support the axe, the axe is really light and can be posed in many ways

Very interesting. Not sure what to think of the spin action there. I guess its trying to be a bit like the cartoon. Where he would spin around and transform.

He looks really nice. The water gun is a nice touch. The ax looks really weird.

But the figure is pretty good.

i love the domestic situation and fantastic help from your lady who loves prime!! its also great your dog makes a guest appearance at the end!

that toy is fantastic in many respects. It looks great in both modes, simple and obviously fun and satisfying to transform. The squirter feature makes this 'feel' like a real toy. the gravity assist looks fun and kids will love that , hopefully it wont be a weakness in the figures 'staying power' over a few years of otherwise careful transforming.

looks a good size too although im sure theres going to be lots of whiners moaning about the size of him in the box and the smallish apparent size of the alt mode.

Im feeling that animated is the best TF line since G1. Im not a massive fan of the multiple versions of each bot but thats something that the industry has introduced with the movie and somewhat inevitable but at the very least each of the 'definitive' versions of each character (and i guess this is the one for prime) are awesome.

I really like most G1 toys for their blocky charm but there were/are simply too many to collect without financial ruin! at least this line provides and excellent assortment of characters in a reasonably compact assortment and unlike everything since beastwars this is the first time ive found pretty almost every one a must buy (classics is running next for sure).

great work man. i just realized what the only thing voyager prime lacks and that's the autobot insignia. did anyon else notice this too ?
he really needs to have the insigna. but despite that i love this figure and definitely going to get it.

Hey sorry it took so long but I finally put the pics up of The Battle Begins Optimus Prime, he doesnt have any special features besides his kick ass axe, which is the most show accurate axe of all the other Primes Enjoy and review will be on soon of this figure. Thanks
