We previously reported on Nano Scale Predaking, a 3rd party miniature remake of G1 Predaking created by Jizai Toys. Now, thanks to HK-TF we can see more images of the set in and out of packaging:

thats pretty cool and i think it would look great beside some more traditional sized combiners since the real predaking is so big but what the HECK is up with that packaging?

Want this-bad. It a US vendor gets hold of one, I'm all over it.

This figure is being sold at Winterfest, a venue where custom figures only are sold. Japan being Japan, "custom figures" has gradually come to mean "models of cute girls".

The artwork on the packaging is, I believe a) a parody of the quintessence of cute girl models at Winterfest, b) an attempt to make the set more appealing to fans of cute girl models, or c) both.

Sorry, Wonderfest, not Winterfest. And it's already finished, unfortunately.

he's interesting, but I don't have much concern for Predaking, regardless of the size.

Now a model of that boxart, whom I shall call Predaqueen, is another matter

It's semi official, while it's not made by Takara it is granted a special licence to be sold with the trademark names and everything.

Damn, if that packaging art ain't cute.

Figures overall look rather nice, but knowing the bomb it'll inevitably cost, I pass.

I want that package art more than the toy
