For those interested in box sets, you'd remember that a Deluxe Battle Damaged Sideways(the gallery of the original Sideways is here on Seibertron.com) is included in the Autobot Strike Mission boxset. The other figures that accompany this version of Sideways, is RotF Deluxe Breakaway, RotF Deluxe Rampage, and '07 Movie Longarm. From the box images, it seemed that this Sideways had nothing more than a simple paint application to the front windshield of the car. This is true, as GenZhao of KOtoys.com, also known as Ebay seller yayabeee, has posted up a gallery of this Battle Damaged Sideways.

He should be able to be cut in half. That would be "authentic" battle damage. I'm passing on this. No need for it.

I've never seen a battle damaged figure I preferred to the regular version--I guess they're just not my thing.

So they slap on a few stickers and call it battle damage? Was hoping for the same treatment they did with Jazz.

Yeah, maybe something like Sideswipe's sword protruding from his chest or something... that would be very nice.

Looks more like Highway Damage or Street Damage, but could also be Divorce Damage and Vandalism.

I only want a Battle Damaged Leader Class Optimus complete with shattered mouth plate, bent out of place anntenae, the sun-guards being shot and bent out of place and bit of his armour and paint apps missing.
