I think these guys look really cool. However, if I were to just see pictures of them without their names above them, I wouldn't have guessed Starscream and Skywarp. I really don't think I have a place for them on my shelf.

They look pretty good to me! I still have to get Bumble and I don't think I'll be getting Cliff. Now which one to get? Starscream or Skywarp? Hmmm...

I have both on pre-order, but think I should really only get one. Skywarp woulda been the hands down, slam dunk, easy choice in black, but I think I'm leaning Starscream...

I liked the car modes for convoy and megatron as they were a little more simple but yet very powerful Nissan cars... cliff and bb's car i could deal with.. but this car is kinda ugly. too streamlined and for my liking. alternity arent supposed to be supercars... just powerful muscle-y cars... Robot modes are pretty ingenious though...

Starscream's head reminds me a bit of Machine Wars Starscream.

They look pretty interesting. but I may just wait for the inevitable Thundercracker repaint.

Skywarp, looks very little like any Skywarp, except for being purple and black.

At last some new designs worthy of beeing Transformers, there are so many cues from previous seeker molds, the feet remind me of starscreams feet in aramada or energon, well one of them eras. The doors on the hips ie mp seekers. I'm not to happy withthe wedy arms and thighs, I hope the arms arent like that to help get the arm cannons in. I don't get why they have to have plane parts, just becuase they used to be planes, but it does make for a more interesting look. I haven't bought any alternity figures yet, I went all out with alt/bts only to be fobbed off with repaints then a sudden end, I was hoping for a more expanded universe with different alt molds, you know like a universe for adult collectors, I thought it was our version of energon, I know we have classics but they are the same standard as the kids toys [well they are kids toys]. I don't wanna start collecting these only to end up the same. I don't want to have shelves of transformers that all turn into cars and at leats alt/bts could be incorporated into the mp universe. Enuff complaining, they may have there flaws but at least I know that Takara can still do some thing properwhen they want to.

For some reason the pics of the car with the doors, hood, and trunk open remind me of Depth Charge or some kind of reptile.

I've never gotten into alternity before but seeing these guys has defintley gotten my attention. I love the look of SS and SW...is the alternity line hard to come by? I've seen pics of OP and Megs but the figs looked kind of puny, are they all deluxe in scale?

They're not hard to come by if you put in a pre-order now, but if you wait you may not be able to get the color you want. And they are deluxe size. They're quite nice, but they are indeed pricey.

I can't stop looking at these. They look great to me. I think they homage a certain basic look for their characters while being almost completely new as well.

Flip a coin. I was going with Skywarp just cos I love purple. Now I've seen SS in white I'm sticking to my decision.

Skywarp looks nice, Starscream, too much white. It's like he's unfinished.

Still not sure of them being cars, though.

Regardless. I'm the guy who usually likes everything. More Transformers, the better eh?

Not this time around.. I'm on the tight rope with this figure and I don't even know if it's clicking. After getting sober I just don't know if Starscream can act well as a car... it's just weird throwing that name around.. he should always be a plane. Just give us the generic blue repaint and be done with it.. because that colour on that figure will look quite nice. Just don't make it an exclusive. Or people get mad.

Well, the main purpose of my collection is G1 homages, so that ain't going to happen until they stop using G1 characters altogether. :lol:

Are you not seeing the 2nd post in this thread where I enlarged the robot images... they are pretty clear LOL!

Here... I enlarged the head from those pics even larger... a little blurrier but you can still see some details
