and to Skowl: dude, the efforts of the news crew is always appreciated man. people may not say it publicly but it's you guys who put out the best news forward and front page it for lotsa others to see. great job guys.

I say it whenever aplicable, I have alot of respect for the staff here, you all do a kick ass job!

Especialy after the upgrade knowing that most stories have to be rewriten to be posted as news, I realy give you all credit for the job you do.

I know it's probono, and that makes it even more respectable as there is no paycheck involved, hell I wish I could help just to lighten the load.

Believe Ol Liege payes attention, I may not be staff, but I take notes and look for ways of helping.

It's ok Liege, just letting some of my frustrations out. It was in no way directed at you. I know you were just joking.

The new forum setup is tough on alot of people and it is being worked on. It's just hard to have to repeat myself so much. Like I said, I'm either posting news, or telling people why there are two threads for everything.

Thank you and zemper for the kind words though. The staff really does appreciate every positive comment. Don't feel bad about not being able to lighten our load - it is a labour of love. We're trying to make this place the best, but we are up against some tough competition - but trust me, your loyalty is the greatest gift you could give to the staff.

I know you said don't worry about lighten the load, but hell if there is a way to deligate to some familiar members, why not?

This mater is all above and beyond me though, but whatever Seiberton is my online home(take that dealer specialties with your getauto.com and your data distribution) and if I can chip in, I will.

Its funny that so many people call Jetstorm bland. Its true, there's not much color, but sometimes that's a good thing. There are a lot of repainters and kitbashers in this hobby, so someone COULD look at Jetstorm and say, "Hmm, a blank slate. What can *I* do with that??" Jetstorm looks like an opportunity just waiting to happen.

As for Wingblade... You know, I always see figures with weapon hands/arms, and I just don't like what I see. I'd much rather see real hands HOLDING weapons, instead of a hand that IS a weapon. However, I think I can handle Wingblade's "hands". I think I'll get him, if I can find him.

To Skowl, thanks for all your hard work in general, and specifically on this story.

And to the news crew and Ryan and everyone involved in Seibertron.com, ya'll rock! Keep up the great work, because we all DO appreciate it.

If you're unfamiliar with the figure, the weapon hands are different from a figure like Armada Demolisher.

These barrel fingers actualy retract so the fingers line up incrementaly almost like a real hand.

It isn;t quite acurate, but it's still pretty cool.

As for the "Blank Slate" idea, I can't say your wrong, and after only taking into acount a hand full of the talent I've seen here...

I just can't decide which one I like more, and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how big they are.

I'm leaning towards Jetstorm because I could use a big Deception for my Cybertron line (have too many Autobots). And Wingblade looks good too, but he looks awfully "busy" with all that stuff under his wings.

For some reason I never bothered with the Jetstorm mold when it was out during Cybertron, but I made a point of getting Wingblade as Wing Saber because he can combine with Optimus (though I've never taken the time to set that up). If I get either it'll be Jetstorm because I think this deco works alot better than the other two releases.

Before I go... Hmn. I think somebody mixed up who's who in the original post. Here's the mistake:

I'll definately pick up the Wingblade, as I missed out on Wing Saber for my Cyb. Prime. The Jetstorm is a maybe. I'm typically iffy on repaints, but It'd be nice to have something to display in vehicle mode (I own the original mold of this character)

These repaints I can live with, as I missed out on the original Cybertron release. Its amazing how sometimes something as reviled as a repaint can turn out to be gold for some collectors. I'm definitely getting these two.

i think the new paint schemes look really good, jetfire more so. As for being bland, isnt that the point of a Robot in DISGUISE!!!!

Further proof that all Transformers should only be black, with black detailing, and black highlights.

Also, they should have no features, be as large as humanly possible, cost $10 but go on clearance for $3.50, and have 31,000 points of articulation.

You see fans, we hate repaints that use any of the colors commonly associated with colors in general. A little known fact is that we also hate the lack of color.

We also hate shades of color and contrasts.

I like Windblade. makes up for never seeing WingSaber in stores.

Now All I have to do is make the long drive to a TRU when it comes out.

I knew I was going to get them confused. The two new figures and the names of the figures they're repainted from all sound the same. I have no more room in my head for any new Transformers info.

BTW, does WingSaber attach to Cybertron Optimus Prime. If so, are there repaints of Optimus Prime, cause this colour scheme definetly won't go well with it.

yes (assuming that this is a straight repaint and that no remolding/retooling was done to the toy). and there are only 2 variants of Cybertron OP (3 if you count the Sonic Convoy Japan TRU exclusive) all within the Cybertron lineup. the green won't definitely go well with it:

Isn't this a recently revived thread? All these rescued threads have their last several weeks of posts unrecovered. And they all look like months old threads. Everybody's checking them out. So why single me out again?

This recent issues about TFA Jetstorm-Jetfire twins had me interested in pics of what Jetstorm previously look like. I know Jetfire. But i'm not familiar with Jetstorm. I did a search. And it brought me to this picture-packed thread.

Only i can't load the pictures.

I think old pictures are not loading up. Probably because of what happened to the site a couple of weeks ago. Also, I noticed random threads being bumped up WITHOUT people posting on them.

Anyway, I still see these two figures at TRU.
