Took a peek at Drift and Straxus and where in the hell is the chrome??? or will it be no chrome this time and just shinier paint apps? if thats the case Takara maybe not be worth buying and ill stick with hasbros versions....doubt it though.

The Seeker mold is a special case since there's not one, but two main versions of it. Here's a breakdown:

Version 1:
- Classics Skywarp to Acid Storm
- Generations Thrust & Dirge
- Gentei Ghost Starscream

Version 2:
- Most Henkei and Gentei releases
- Universe 2.0 Starscream

Version 2 is the more "degraded" one, despite it being newer.

Gotta admit, that TAK Megatron repaint looks better than the Henkei. May have to pick that one up. Waiting to see the WFC Magnus. I believe he will be a WFC Prime re-paint?

If this Cliffjumper's head will fit onto the old classics Cliffjumper's body I foresee a lot of headhunting.

I'm not sure, but they might still be the Hasbro versions (Drift and Straxus, that is) as I can't find a difference between those pics and the Hasbro version.

WFC Megatron and Optimus look real bad-ass. They're must haves.

Not too fussed about the rest of the WFC figures as I'm not a fan of the designs, although I may have to get Cliffjumper just to see what the head looks like on his Classics self.

The re-release Bumblebee and Optimus are passes but I am intrigued by that Megatron. Always felt there was too much red on the Henkei one.

And unless there's a difference in the two Generations figures that we can't see, they're passes also.

Still, all are awesome figures and it gives me hope for a further remolded Blurr. Maybe.

so is hasbro re-releasing classics 'bee? i missed out on him and i dont wanna pay 40 bucks for him.

I said "Voyager". The Deluxe one is a tank, inspired by G2.

Really? I've got the G2 inspired one form the "Ultimate Battle" 2pk and was thinking of getting the SE one for the "G1 look", this one not worth it then?

Ah, that changes it. One thing though: the green "Ultimate Battle" has its feet misassembled, but the Special Edition corrected it.

Really? Why did they make a second version when the sculpt of the toy is the same between the non-conehead seekers and the Henkei releases?

On topic, I've already noticed some extra paint apps on Takara's Soundwave. Purple detailing on the head and some silver outlining on the lower legs, there may be more. Depending on pricing I will probably be picking him up.

All the other figures have shiny paint not present in the Hasbro releases, whereas Drift and Straxus do not. I think they are just place holders for the moment.

Cliffjumper looks very nice!

That voyager megs looks TERRIBLE!

like a KO version of the original or something, missing paint apps on the cannon, shoulder, waist, no chrome. what a piece of crap.

CJ looks good, nothing here warrants importing in my opinion though

you can mark me amongst the north american haters of metallic paint.

Oh, I'm liking that metallic paint on WFC Bumblebee. I'm very tempted.

I think I actually prefer the United Megatron over the Henkei, based on photos. I never liked the chrome on the chest. Anywhere else and it wouldn't have bothered me that much. But on the other hand, the unpainted Decepticon symbol on the United version's cannon bugs me, and makes me think there could be a few more paint apps added. I've never bought from Takara before...would they really leave a faction symbol unpainted?

the chrome on Henkei Megs' chest wasn't all that great, but the chrome with black paint over it on his legs was frikkin awesome!

Henkei Megs had shinny paint and some chrome apps. The Destron sigil seems to have lost the indigo chrome.

WFC Megs on the other hand, well I'm not sure if it's the camera angle but his chest seems to be black(?) but his pelvis area is colored black to best reflect/homage the classic archetype from the 80's. Very Nice! The bucket helmet on the other hand, is it also painted?

These all look phenomenal! That Cliffjumper is just insane it's so flippin sweet! I really do hope Classics Bumblebee gets re-released here, and on top of that I hope that this will mark a trend for re-released A-listers in the Classics line!

I think it's only dark grey.

Here's hoping they do a US version of that Voyager Megatron, with a paint scheme like that. Heck, if they don't I'll get the United one anyways.

EDIT: Someone forgot to move the knee guards up on Voyager Megatron, I want to see that red detailing on the legs.
