I was actually thinking about how with the 10 (or 12) bots that make up the two teams, and the only characters that got real personalities on the cartoon were Swindle and First Aid. One's a bastard that sold his squads parts for scrap and the others a pacifist that hangs out in a junk yard with a old bot that wears a ball cap.

Not exactly Shakespearian here!

You know, you're totally right on that one. But that really could be said of all the combiner teams, except maybe Devastator. Those two were the most memorable.
