You have a gift for understatement, my friend.

This *will* be an expensive year. Gut wrenchingly, blood drawingly expensive.

...and worth every single penny.

Those are there because they are unfinished test shots. You can also see the not for sale mark on Springers wing.

Despite already having the Encore Prime I'll definitely get the 25th Anniversary package as it looks wonderful. Sideswipe,Silverstreak and Ironhide will also be finding their way into my collection though I'm not sure about Silverbolt.
Does anyone else think a bigger mold for the Seekers is now needed
as they look a bit weedy next to Silverbolt and Powerglide?

definitely goin to be an expensive year. i'm a big fan of the classics and g1 homages.

looking forward to hound and cyclonus - the rest are pretty good with some good redecos like bluestreak and finally a decent g1 ironhide.

powerglide and onslaught look great - not digging silverbolt's jet mode though his robot mode is a great homage to one of my fave g1 toys (which broke too easily...)

my main gripe with this series is galvatron's size - he defo needed to be a voyager. also it seems the autobots have the upper hand when it comes to fire power and aerial superiority.. hasbro need to release those seekers to balance things out
My personal prime collection so far in descending order of how great i reckon the toy is -
FE Prime, Silas Breakdown (Powerizer), Dreadwing (Powerizer), FE Bulkhead, Voyager StarScream (Powerizer), Ratchet, Soundwave, Arcee, Voyager Megatron (Powerizer), Wheeljack, Thundertron (Powerizer), Ultra Magnus (Powerizer), Knockout, Cliffjumper, Bumblebee,Airachnid

The only ones they've got right so far are Prowl and Bluestreak. Which are the same mold. Ironhide's robot mode is an improvement. While his van altmode is too wrinkley. Too many noticeable cracks. The painted windows on back are too light. They don't match with the darker blue windows up front. I've heard target master Cyclonus looks good. I really need to see that one.

However police and family have me in a mood tonight, so I'm gonna ask, why is it everytime theres a Hasbro convention display, somethings always F___ed up!?!

I can't remember a single convention display that didn't have at least 2 errors. I know these are set up in a rush, but I also know anyone reading this could get it right.

Profread your sales displays Hasbro, I know it's only millions on the line, but still every penny counts right!?!

(hell, I just double checked this post, it took 2 seconds, and now I seem less dumb)

Often times the representatives at conventions and setting up the booths are from the Marketing, Sales, and Business departments. These folks may not be experienced with the toys. Ideally, folks from the design team should be setting up the booths, but that doesn't happen much.

Still, you should know how to present what you market and sell...

This is why I've decided to pass on Powerglide.

I mean, I didn't care for the colorscheme or the top-heavy robot mode, and with his head the size it is, he looks 'enlarged' rather than large, but mostly, he just looks wildly out of scale to the seekers in either mode.

As gestalt leaders, Silverbolt and Onslaught were always taller than others in the Comics and Cartoon, so I'm okay with their heights.

Hoping Galvatron comes to about the same height as Classics Megatron when we finally see a comparison. Megatron was a very small Voyager afterall, if Galvatron is a really big Deluxe, they could come out about right. I hope.

I have one tiiiiiiny gripe about Sideswipe. Remember last year when they were showing the design art. They told us that the engines would transform mush like alternators. I really liked the look of the guns for Sideswipe that we saw. One half of the intake became his flat nose shoulder missle, and the other have became is flamethrower.

Damn it, I hope that sticks

Does anyone else think those are holes to the sides of Sideswipe's head (I guess they're his "shoulders", but not on the joints)
look like they'd hold his canons?

I thought the same thing. But like I was saying before, it doesn't look like he'll be getting the engine/shoulder cannon.

Man, that'll be a shame if Hasbro doesn't give us that one canon...
It would be so easy, and yet imo it's so important.
I don't care if it can't be stored/incorporated into the car mode.

I don't want G1 fanwank!!

This statement is a perfect example of what I hate so much about this franchise and this fandom. I spoke specifically about G1, yet you turned it around to make it look like I don't like anything because I don't like G1. Since when does Transformers = Generation 1 only? Any fanwank is bad fanwank, especially when you've been spoon-fed G1-flavoured everything for the past 10 years.

Either you're saying this just to push my buttons, or you're just incredibly ignorant of the franchise's rich history beyond Generation 1. Either way, you're a perfect example of what is wrong with the fans today.

So it's ok for fans who want something different to have their lines (the movie and Animated), but for fans who like G1, too bad? And there's something wrong with us besides?

Whatever dude.

I don't speak for Skowl, but I understand what he's saying.

I'll put my feelings like this:

I hate G1. With a passion. However, I believe we're all entitled to what we like, how we like it and no one has the right to deny us that.

Even though I can't stand G1, I see no reason to deprive you of it, though I would like to see less of it. Since that won't happen, I'm at least grateful that Hasbro updated it with excellent molds worthy of a showcase in the Smithsonian.

I'll wait for Jizai Toys' Ironhide thanks. This one is just too ugly looking. In fact, with the exception of Prowl/Bluestreak, they're all pretty darn ugly.

I hope he gets a weapon. Remember the first three eps of G1? Ironhide had that badass laser that BB used in the back and came out his back when he was chasing the cons. Call me crazy but I think in one of the pics you can see it hanging down behind his back!
