At least there doesn't seem to be endless sea routes. RSE was so painful with that.

I forgot to tell you guys that those are just the inserts that show the real-life inspirations/counterparts, which they used as basis for the Isshu region.

It felt too soon, but that's the impression the original person who photoshopped it got, in terms of the whole region.

Yup. They'll base the Isshu region on the NY area (with NJ, appearing as NY's dumpsite, as usual).

Triple battles! It's going to be chaos out there, but I think it's awesome. I can't wait to fight my first triple battle online against some newbie with a team full of legendaries.

New Pokemon look cool, from what I can tell, especially the sarcophagus ghost and little guy in the green gel or whatever.

Isshu may be based on Shanghai and the surrounding area, just rotated 90 degrees:

That thing they SAY is a Mantis on Serebii(I think) looks ok, but the Claw Mole?
Blegh, it looks like there's only a few cool Pokemon so far...

I like Zekrom though, not as much as Lugia, or Hoenn's Legendaries(mostly Lugia though) but he's still cool.

Went to see the Zoroark movie today! It was pretty good, albeit as predictable as all the other Pokemon movies. Zoroark herself is ludicrously hardcore in it and the shiny legendary beasts were cool.

Before now I was wondering how the Black and White legendaries (whose names I refuse to memorise) were supposed to be fire/dragon and electric/dragon types, but in the intro trailer it became clear that the white one basically has a jet engine for a tail while the black one has a dynamo.

I think they're overdoing the Dragon typing, though I like that Zekrom's Electric, makes it unique.
I pretty much hate Reshiram though...

Overdoing Dragons? For box Legendaries, yeah I agree. This is the 5th/6th in a row (not counting the remakes); though they do have fancy secondary types.

Sort...of...

It wasn't clear if they were actual mechanical parts that were the same colour as the rest of the body or biological parts that resembled machine parts (ie. Magmortar's arm cannon). They were only on screen for a few seconds and there was a lot of CGI fire/electricity covering the parts in question.

Exactly, I like non legendary dragons, but for legends, I think they're doing it too much.

I don't even own a DS, just a GBA, but now my FR and Emerald versions keep erasing stuff so they're not even safe O_O
That new Kibago Pokemon is awesome though...

The battery life on the GBA games will be coming to an end soon. Some early copies of Sapphire and Ruby have already had their batteries fail completely.

You could always open them up and put a new battery in if you really want.

But you should definitely get one of the new games when they come out next year if you don't want to bother with the current generation.

Dang, what sucks is they were brand new...
Changing the battery won't harm the save file will it?
I DO want this generation though as Johto's my favorite region, oddly enough, I've had little to no problems with the original G/S, no erased Pokemon, just one shutoff which never happened again...
