The registry looks odd now. The "life bars" are gigantic.

The grid pattern isn't showing up on the sides of the forum for me. I have ctrl+F5'd a few times and it hasn't changed anything.

My view looks exactly the same as those pictured too, though something I have noticed is that sometimes when the page loads I see the purple and black grid momentarily which then goes back to the plain white background.

i think the issue with the purple grid/white background has alot to do with what type of screen your using and the resolution. here at home a run safari 4 and firefox 3 on an e-mac. the screen is 19 inch square i think which gives the same screen as above, however a work i have a 24 inch imac running snow leopard with safari and firefox and although the main body of the screen is as above i get a nice purple to black border down the sides.
i will screen cap that tomorrow and post it here.

Well huh...so any clue why we aren't seeing the grid? It's not that big of an issue to me really, but it'd break up all the whiteness everywhere

think seibs is saying its all down to screen resolution (and size) try playing about with different settings in control panel/system preference.

What size is your monitor resolution? If it's less than 1400, you'll get all the white because I thought that the content would be more important than seeing the background grid on the sides.

Its 1366x768 according to my display settings. So I guess that makes sense.

i would like to make two suggestions. the first is for the customs section to have more order, such as in chronoligical or order of series. the second is more of a suggestion regarding the overall appearance of the site. i think the layout of the site makes it easy to find your way around and works extremely well, and my suggestion is to periodically change the colours to suite the colour scheme of a certain transformers character with a picture of them in the right of your banner.

My suggestion would be to rearange the stuff again (like the galleries, news, and sightings, etc.). Also, listen to other people, Ryan, about their color ideas, cause I got nothing. I'd really like to see a refreshed Seibertron, and as for the news, I like it when I first satrsted really tuning into Seibertron a couple years ago with at least like 15 news articles in a box that you could scroll down to see what new news was there and what you missed. As for a background, it lacks something... G1-ish.

The design from a couple of weeks back with the simple logo was far superior, in my opinion. The current design - especially with is use of TF2010 and the grid - makes it look very dated. Almost as if it's from the 90s.

I just want to say I really like the slightly upgraded logo, looks really slick. And the 'Welcome To Your Planet' slogan. I really like that for some reason. Makes me feel at home, or something.

TF10 is the logo for Toy Fair. It does not stand for Transformers.

Now that you bring that up, I'm kind of surprised Hasbro hasn't capitalized on that with their Transformers booth. Put up a banner that says, "Putting the TF in ToyFair" or something along those lines.

I actually really like the new layout except for one thing, the color of links. The dark red just clashes to much with the rest of the site. Makes it look less professional than previous layouts. I think that's the right way to describe it. Not trying to say you're not professional because you're great at what you do, just the colors clash big time.

I also just noticed there's a Kremzeek smilie. I'm a happy camper :KREMZEEK:
