Back in 2006 when they release the Transformers Classic line, I found a mis-packaged one. It has the cardboard from the Rodimus toy but the plastic part and the toy itself is for Astrotrain. The cardboard part is also off centered. Just curious what this might be worth. Still in the package and its in great condition.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too much, mispackages really aren't that big a deal in the TF community. I don't suppose you can take a picture of it?

And if possible, could you get the back too? I'm not all that familiar wirth releases outside of the US and familiar, but Canadian releases have had only one card design for every single toy.

Ok, that's pretty sloppy if that was done by one of Hasbro's factories. However, high prices are not caused by rarity alone, but mainly by the appeal and especially demand. Mispackaged figures are one in a million I grant you that, but on the flipside, the appeal and demand is simply non-existant. If anything, if you decide to sell it you'll be lucky to break even.

Really? My guess would be it doesn't have much effect on the value either way and it would sell for about the going rate of a MISB Astrotrain...which I assume is at least a few bucks better than breaking even. Might lose some interest in those that are MISB collectors looking for a traditional Astrotrain, but you probably gain it back in with the odd factor.

There are types that'd like the correct cards for the figures. I'm one of them
