i found it odd when Mumm-Ra blows this gnarly mouth power beam at Lion-O and hits him square in the back and Lion-O proceeds to fall to his knees and then slams face first into the ground totally knocke the F-out and Mummra laughs and says " your much like your father" and not even a second later it pans to Lion-O lookin like nothin happened whatsoever and just didn;t blasted to **** and says "what do you know about my father".

I found this episode a little weak personally and the continuity from scene to scene a bit rushed. Like they're already starting to cut some corners in the story telling and delivery. Hopefully this episode is just an anomaly.

Last night's episode was definitely the best of all of them all.

Not to mention the powered up lion-O or whoever his name was (i forget). A toy of that would be pretty sweet.

I love the new series. I really like that they are doing a lot of the back story. It is interesting to see that they are showing all the old characters as working for Mum-ra.

I thought the last episode was great with the exception of the super-armor for Mum-ra and whatever the Lion-O guy's name was. I loved all the back story, but I thought the "armor from nowhere" was odd.

Last night's episode was just filler, but it was still really good. Then again, there hasn't been a bad episode yet!

Nope. Cartoon Network aired some other cartoon premiers last night. Plus, the DVD was officially announced that the first dvd will consist of the first 8 episodes. We will get new episodes on Sept. 23rd and 30th though, which will be a two-parter, called: "The Omens."

Well according to TV.com no new episodes have aired since the Duelist and the Drifter episode, and the next one to air will be the Berbils on October 28 which will be a single part episode.

After which will get Sight Beyond Sight, The War Forgers, and finally Into the Astral Plane.

Ive lost track of the episodes and their numbers. I think the last i saw was episode nine where Lion-o dueled the swordsman or whatever.

I haven't checked in for 3 or 4 weeks. I thought the season was over or somethin. What have been the last 2 or 3 episodes?

That was a great episode. I love how they introduced the Berbils. Add to that the value they added to the team, we may very well see them as reoccuring characters.

Animators had gotten behind on the episodes, so they gave us a mini break between episodes for a good month now. This week was the first episode since episode 9, so you didn't miss anything.

Buddeh is pronounced with a hard EH at the end by the way. Canadian style. You can drag it out for emphasis too. example: Thanx buuudeehh. It's a term of endearment really.

When i'm talking to girls who take offence to the word "babe" of which i use primarily as a term of endearment and in casual converstion with my girl"friends". I replace it with 'buddeh' and it usually gets a chuckle and is accepted as the proper vernacular in any given circumstance in lue of the (for lack of a better word) misogynistic term "babe".

And that's all i gotta say about that really....

Thank goodness for the internet, or I wouldnt' have known these guys names(I've only seen most of Season 1 recently, and it's been years since I saw the whole series).

I liked it too. The conquistador reminded me of 'Safari Joe'.

Did anybody else have a really hard time making out what the Berbils were saying with the synth voices? I did a lot of the time.

Me neither, actually. I found the episode on YouTube later, though, and for some reason I could understand them perfectly.
