Transformers Animated is back! Or at least the music loving bots are. The immense toy galleries of Seibertron.com have been updated with a jiving Autobot and Decepticon. If you guessed Autobot Jazz, then you're correct. Freeway Jazz is a repaint of Jazz, who now tunes into his headphones in a grey color scheme. The other is the Decepticon, Electrostatic Soundwave. A repaint of Soundwave, he's exchanged instruments - going from the Laserbeak Guitar to the Ratbat Keytar. gotta say that jazz is lookin pretty snazzy. to bad, im REALLY not a fan of the mold.

SOUNDWAVE ON THE OTHER HAND! i can not wait to get that guy on my shelves. (even if he does look rediculus carying a keytar on his roof) XP

I guess it was too much to hope for a pic of Electrostatic Soundwave and any Soundblaster together.

Well, at least we got pics of Freeway Jazz and Movie Jazz. Kudos to that.

Though, it would've also been to see Optimus holding Lazerbeak like he did in the second part of "Human Error".

Really.

The silver plastic totally brings out how good the mold is, especially compared to his poopy white from before.

I'm excited that this Soundwave doesn't have his eyes painted. Much more sinister if the red can glow. The only question now is do I order online or begin the hunt? Hmm.. :-?

Freeway Jazz looks very cool in this colour scheme.

Same goes for Electrostatic Soundwave. Ratbat is a great added bonus to make the Soundwave repaint even better. I can't wait for these to arrive in stores here.

I debated about this because I don't think this is a great homage to Soundblaster. Had it been black (as in #000000) and not a dark grey, I would've considered this a much better Soundblaster homage. Nevertheless, I guess some comparison pics were in order anyways so thanks for the suggestion.

Ann Arbor, Michigan, eh? I grew up in Fenton, MI which is about 40 minutes north of there. Always loved to head down to Ann Arbor when I was toy hunting. There used to be a pretty decent Japanese toy store there. I think it was called Wysiwyg. You ever make it out to Time Traveler's in Berkley/Southfield area?
