For those wondering, Ratchet and Ironhide both came from Diaclone, where they were nothing more than piloted mecha. Specifically, Ironhide and Ratchet don't have real heads, instead they have real seats.

They have heads! well kind of, theres a sticker you can apply to the seat with a face on it
Ironhide was a character i wanted as a kid - that is untill i went to woolys and saw the toy in the box which shattered the cartoon image i had of him in my head. if i remember right i changed my birthday list considerably after that

I understand the hatred that some people have for these figures. Not having a head is a bit of a drawback but as a kid I had both of these and enjoyed the hell out of them. Kitbashing a head for each of them is a great idea but honestly, the Reprolabel stickers are pretty cool looking.

I know that they are fairly horrible figures, but with the reprolabel stickers they do look a lot better. And even though I know they suck, and don't look at all like the G1 cartoon (or comic) characters, I still want them.
