Good news for XBOX Live Gamers who happen to be Transformers fanatics. In a report posted over at GameZone.com, starting November 26th, 2009, XBOX Live users will be able to outfit their avatars for the system with Transformers gear.

Below is a full list of available gear:

•Megatron Helmet

•Optimus Prime Helmet

•BumbleBee Helmet

•3 Decepticons T shirts (both male and female versions)

•3 Autobots T shirts (both male and female versions)

•1 Transformers Logo T shirt (male only)

The helmets will be available for 240 MS Points and the t-shirts will be available for 80 MS Points.

Not even TF gear can make the avatars less of a fail. Only way they'll get me to spend money on avatar crap would be if there was a G1 Megatron costume. Just so i didnt have to look at the anime reject known as my avatar.

Geez, $3 for one of those helmets? No thanks. Though i may actually consider one of the shirts, only because i can't really find anything that i actually like in DLC to spend my remaining 120 on.

But then again, i shouldn't buy one since this is one of the more reasons i hate Xbox, having to pay for shirts and stuff for avatars, when it was intially free.

ah man they terible look like card board helmets glad i dont own xbox i feel sorry for the ones who do who have to look at there avatars

i still can't believe people will actually spend money..REAL money, not credits or money you win playing a game but actual money from their wallets.....to dress up a video game character.

i wont lie, i enjoyed dressing up mine but that was back when it was all free. now since they created the avatar store, EVERYTHING costs money. and it seems they even got rid of all the free clothes and accessories that used to exist. now the whole store consists of stuff based on movies, shows, music, games or some sorta theme.

but seriously....people are paying money to do this? that's just scary. makes me wonder if they'll start charging for video game extras instead of making them free by winning them through achievments.

I agree with you there, you're basically paying them to advertise their product, brilliant on their part though
