i got it and the head does not transform it pulls off of a nebulan sized head that pulls away so you can transform it. it's a bit rubbish but aside from that and loose popaway parts i like it a good mini interpitation of the original.

Erhm, though a bit late perchance I'd like to awnser this one, the big one in flashy colors might be better as the other one lacks not only their partners and some of the weapons, but has double-dealer instead of hellbat for the arm and is simply not that good of quality.

diablien, that G1-looking Optimus is the new Korean made version (knock-off, fake, counterfeit, etc.) I suggest that the seller either doesn't know or is purposely trying to scam you. The tells are the gray area above the window and the factory made crease flap. The toy isn't bad and can be had for around 70-100 USD. PM me the seller if you wouldn't mind.

I actually bought knock off intentionally. They are actually pretty good. The plastic is not bad, though I had to shave off some part so they would work right. I bought them so that I could play with them and not worry about breaking the real deals. My knock off are superion, devastator, defensor, and menasor. At least I knew they were knock offs when I bought them.

I heard there's some new cybertron ko's at Big Lots(surprise surprise). Don't really have the time or waste the gas to drive to the nearest Big Lots, so I'll just have to ask if anyone has seen them or even bought one.

Found these on Scary-crayon.com, says he got them at Dollar Tree. I have yet to any TF KO's at Dollar Tree by me though. They look pretty cool for a buck.

My G/f's son has the gold one. Its a piece of crap! lol

Not transformable, all that crap comes off and the legs fold back. JUNK!

Excellent thread guys. I love knockoffs. I've seen alot of these. I really wish i would have picked them up at the time. Especially that Lio Convoy. A little paint, and I can probably save myself about 60 bucks.

My opinions on teh mew mocie aside, I am actually hoping that it will cause a bootleg boom like we had back in the 80's, when TF first came out.

Irionically, TF bootlegs figures were the ones that I always got because they were cheaper, and all my freinds would make fun of me. Because my Sunstreaker was red and not yellow, and came in a package with Japanese writing on it.

I laugh about it now, because I had the only "Real" Transformers on the block. I really wish I still had all of those guys now.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! I saw them yesterday, there arn't any real BW molds in the pack and look like Grade A++ crap in robot mode. You're better off W/ Superion + at my K-mart all baskets were 25% off.

One was a "Orange Raptor" and I think the other was an Ape or Triceratop...

I was at Big Lots today and bought a bunch of crappy Transformers. They had the combaticons, protectobots, constructicons, aerialbots, mirage and some jet. A giant jetfire knockoff. Weird thing is the combiners even had the flip out pieces to attach to make arms and legs. However they don't sell the middle transformer to make the body or the head, hands and such. Just the knockoff transformers in 2 packs. 2 for $1.50 for all but the knockoff mirage/jet which was $4 and the Jetfire was $6. They are pretty poor made. Better quality than I thought but half are already broke...haha.


Edit: The knockoff jet that came with knockoff mirage is a copy of Air Hunter (both nearly exact Robot Masters copies).

Crapp is what you get when you buy knock-offs, but I can see why people want em. The real ones get extremelly expensive.....Original Megatron for instance, as well as predacons etc.
