They totally nailed it IMO..The colors, which alot were skeptical about turned out wicked..One this i do notice is the simularity to the City commander armor..Look at how it breaks down..the chest plate, the legs..hey i say if it ain't broke don't fix it!

cant wait to see how this looks with the clear rodimus!...

Alright after doing a quick skim of most of comments it does seem that there are quite a few who are a bit dissapointed. I really wish they would have posted some really good head shots just to get a better look of his head. I also don't like how they couldn't do a better job with the rear wheels, I mean I'm sure they could have.

And finally what is up with the armor battle station being held up by a kickstand?? I dunno it would have been better looking if the base of it where something more than just a kickstand holding it all up. I would definitely put that part aside when displaying in bot mode. But despite those slight flaws like most TF it is still a must have IMHO 'nuff said!

I don't see it as a battle station in the Prime sense but more like a stand alone artillery weapon like a GI Joe Flak cannon.

I dunno but I think the kickstand part is mistransformed,

Although that kinda looks like rollar, I also remember somewhere that his platform is supposed to be a tank of some sort.

Anyway, my preorder just got that more exciting (however, my wallet is slapping me in the face).

New images of FansProject's TFX-04 or better known as Protector has surfaced at TFClub.com (http://club.tfclub.com/viewthread.php?t ... a=page%3D1).
This time, the Protector set is hook onto Henkei version of Rodimus.
The main differences are the chrome spoiler and the yellow "flame" part on vehicle mode will match nicely with the "flame" on the trailer.

As awesome as this looks, I really wish they would have done something to try and beef up his thighs... just look too small and narrow compared to the rest of him... oh well, still badass!!!

I don't think I'll get this though. I've realised the more I look at it the more I actually just prefer my Classics figure as it is. If this had been a Hasbro product on mass retail for a much cheaper price I might have bought one but it's just not worth the high costs I'd have to pay (and after the fiasco I've just had with Virgin Media taking £100 out of my bank account I'm a bit broke now)

Also the Henkei matching one looks awful mainly due to that chrome but then most of the actual Henkei figures suffer from the exact same problem.

I still might get Sidearm though. I loved Firebolt for my old Targetmaster Hot Rod til my sister sat on him and broke his arms off.
