Took a drive out to Huntington TRU and scored big. Saw Straxus (Darkmount) on the pegs and just knew Red Alert and the others had to be somewhere. Asked a nice gentleman for help and he scanned the figure I had to see if any of the rest of the wave was in stock. Sure enough he brought out a nice fresh box. Soundwave, Megs, Red and Darkmount. I took 2 reds and a Darkmount and left the rest. For anybody looking the generations box does have wave 3 on it if that helps the stock people. Also of note that for some reason Red Alert isnt in their computer to be rung up.

Oh awesome! I'll check Massapequa TRU this week when I get a chance. Back to College this week.

Is that the one on 110 near the Pet Smart and Barnes and Noble? I am guessing Terradive and Tomahawk weren't there REALLY want those. But I'd settle for Red Alert and Darkmount.

That's the one Sideswipe. Truth be told I got so excited about my finds I completely forgot about those 2. Really want Tomahawk too.

Carle Place LI toysrus had 8 MP Grimlocks! 8! me and my uncle got 4 each already and left them for the taking... also Found a TA delux Grimlock on clearance for 8.99 snatched it up.. And to the poster who said Tri-County .. your right there is some nice stuff upstairs but i cant help to think some of his Transformers Items are KO.. I mean the Takara and reissue Gen 1's stuff.. I might be wrong but i aint getting stuck paying over $90 for something only to find out its a KO.. any thoughts from members on that store?

Yeah that was me. I happened to wander in there with some friends once and discovered all that stuff. I'm not all that great at figuring out if something is a G1 KO or not (especially since I don't collect g1). But I wouldn't put it past that guy, he is set up in a flea market. But I don't know him personally or anything so who am I to judge. The store right near Tri County, Amok Time won't steer you wrong though. In all my experiences with them, they have been very cool.

Ahh Yes My boys at Amok Time are Awesome.. Just to let you all know because i share the info on deals as a collector not a grimey selfish person or collector but Amok Time has MP Ultra Magnus for $107.00 cash out the door! I got 2 this past holiday weekend and can't complain at all ever about them! plus picked up a Henkei Dark Skye Fire from them for $45 But back to my fellow collector Tyrannotaur.. if during your TF hunting if there is something your looking for or cant find shoot me a PM on here I pick up 3 to 4 of each figure most the time and if i can help its no bother at all brother ... plus i am not some SB who would 3x jack up or even 2x jack the price I enjoy collecting and i know the feeling when you find that hard to find or new release figure and got no problem with helping out fellow Seibertronians who live close by oh and yeah i dont mean to or am trying to bash that guy at Tri-County but some of the boxes just seem to match up with what I seen B4 or even what they show on here, Esp some of those G1's he has and Reissue's

All you guys must be really close to me because your hitting eveyone of my regular spots. The guy in Tri County does have some knock offs. He was selling a boxed devastator gift set for like 120. I dont think he's trying to pass it off as real as any real collector would know a MISB devs would cost much more than that. Its just that his mark up is really high for stuff. For example, I paid 18 dollars for Classics Cyclonus when he first got released. I couldnt find him anywhere but there and that was a small amount compared to what I spent in gas looking for him all over the place. I use that guy in circumstances like that.

Amok Time on the other hand is the place to be. I swear i can just spend hours in that place looking at his crap. Now with them, stuff is marked up a little when he first gets it but once it hasnt moved they price it quite nicely. Just recently picked up omega supreme (reissue) from him for 80 bucks and sky linx for 50. The best deals with them go on the loose stuff. Classics astrotain for 8 dollars, 1st movie black ironhide (to turn him into classics Trailblazer) for 10 dollars. They're like the Marshalls of the TF world. "What will you find today?"

Real upset about Dark Henkei too. I was eyeing it when they first got it and it was like 70. Couldnt justify it at that price just because it was a delux but i would have been all over him for 45. Good catch.

Darkman20 let me be the bearer of this Great News Then!! They have over 7 Dark Henkei Skye fires My brother thats why they Reduced the price! to move em out the door! So my fellow Seibertronian Find time to get in there and grab 1 Asap because my uncle who lives out there went and grabbed another 1 for me as I could not resist the price and opened mine and WOW What a Figure! if i get a chance after making my kids lunch I will try to post some Pics of it

Yeah, I finally checked out Amok Time for the first time last Sunday. Saw the price on Dark Skyfire, but not really interested in that. I was really hoping to find some old Classics figures... was really hoping to luck out and find Henkei Astrotrain... but didn't see much of a selection. I didn't even see the Universe 3-pack. Of course, I'm not sure who to talk to at the store. I was interested in picking up on of the seeming surplus of Universe Smokescreens, but not for the current price.

How often do they get new stock of older figures? It's a bit of a drive to hit that place up, coming from Brookhaven, in Suffolk County.

Also, has Generations Red Alert and Soundwave make it any further east than Huntington, yet?

That figures. So tempted to jump right now but I just blew my budget on MP Grimlock, the Bruticus Upgrade kit and wave 2 of generations. Trying to hold off until my next commission payout will be murder. Maybe I'll get some dough for the B Day tomorrow though.

Spotted series 2 Deluxe and scout of HFTD at Walmart in Farmingdale on Route 110. No Generations series 2.

Has anyone seen if Amok Time still has a Dark Sky fire for sale? Tri county is kinda far from my house and i rather not go if they don't have it, cause ebay is just to crazy right now. I have been coming up empty a lot of the times with everything which is definately upsetting. Might make a run to TRU on 110 tomorrow if my sister wants to go. She collects LBP Sackboys now and she is looking for the girl with the pig tails and the Voodoo sackboy. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Oh well I did find an Animated Arcee on monday of this week but she was the only one left and I picked her up so I didnt feel it was worth mentioning right away lol.

Not only do I go there every week end but even call to see if some one dropped off or Sold them any G1 TF's and as of Yesterday AmokTime had about 4 to 5 Dark Skyfire Exclusives for 49.99 and some sets of the Commemorative Seacons Set 69.99. Also Masterpiece Ultra Magnus 109.00 Flat! When you go in there and find what you want to buy ,say to them hey can you do it for the price without tax? 90% of the time they will and the more you spend the easier it is not to be charged tax.......... That place is my second Home lol..

@Sideswipe 00 Also STAY AWAY FROM THE DUDE UPSTAIRS IN TRI-COUNTY! 75% of his G1 reissues are FAKE! and his Imports of Takara are FAKE as Well! I confronted him about his G1 reissue Ultra Magnus and that Fanged Freak Actually Ran around his counter and said he was busy with a Magic The Gathering Card game he had to supervise! Tri-County 14K gold get it tested its under 10K so Buyer beware!

AmokTime, def I do actually know "Fang Boy" lol not a personal friend mind you, he just ran a comic shop near my house for a LONG time. Me and my friends played Magic the gathering there a lot and yugioh there when it first came out. Sucks that he has to stoop so low now
