Maybe my memory is a little faulty, but I think they also announced a Deluxe Liege Maximus.

It's a bit faulty. Liege Maximo was mentioned as being one of the 13 in the mythos. That doesn't make sense to me.

Just to clarify, these are difinitely on the way or are they just concept designs that haven't been confirmed to be released? I recall Classics Cosmos being shown at the design pannel.

I'm excited for all the new G1 guys, especially Tracks & Jazz! Maybe even Scourge, I'll have to see what he looks like though. However, if I start collectings Scourges now, I've got some expensive catching up to do...

My sentiments exactly! My bro and his girlfriend are coming up on Saturday for just under two weeks, and the money I don't spend at theme parks is likely to be spent on HFTD and catch-up ROTF TF toys!

Well, Sea World has some slightly-overpriced TFs in the gift shop, so maybe I'll take a little extra there. Hey, at least it's something worthwhile instead of tacky touristy merchandise! Things like "My family went to Dreamworld and all I got was this lousy T-shirt!" t-shirts and collections of plush Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig toys are not something on which I'd blow all my money! I'd rather spend my money wisely and get a bunch of ROTF, HFTD and PCC toys.

Man, I can only imagine... I'm sure a lot of folks were either cheering or in stunned silence from too much good news all at once. Sounds like a blast.

I didn't make it out this year, but hope to next year... hopefully meet up with some of you fellow Seibertronians!

Why dosen't it make sense to you? Furman designed him to be one of them from the get go, it's just that the G2 comic was canceled before he could make it official.

There was a lot of cheering, every single slide was cheering. The only stunned silence was when it was said that there were no figures planned for Transformers: Prime.

Literally; utter silence, a cricket soundbyte would've been awesome.

It#s a bit strange that they produce a new show without making any toys for it.

Which is my question for the Q&A. Instead of a Prime toyline we get a rechristened movie line. Why?

They probably just don't want to announce anything yet. Gotta save some news for later. Maybe SDCC will reveal something.

I don't think so. Hasbro may like double-speak and non-specific answers, but that was not what we got on this one.

I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Yeah, but it was stunned silence in a good way. This could be the best Transformers show ever. Why ruin it with forcing toys on the writers?

This is true but still kind of weird because historically Hasbro has been relunctant to make toys that didn't have a movie or show to back it up. Now they are doing the exact opposite.

Are there any promo images from the new series out? Maybe the visual style is close enough to the Generations toys that Hasbro doesn't need to release a whole new series. Or maybe the toys will be released in Generations packaging?

I'm so excited for the Generations line! I've just gotten into collecting as an adult (starting with the WFC Optimus Prime and Bumblebee). I plan to get everyone announced in the line so far but Thrust. I don't really dig him for some reason.

I'm starting to understand the whole "Hasbro is taking all of my money" thing! There are some really nice figures coming out in this line. Attractive character designs. Great looking. The two figures I bought have just about all the poseability I could ask for.

I will also echo an earlier sentiment: a Wheeljack figure would REALLY make me happy! I don't think he gets enough love.
