TakaraTomy has updated their Binaltech: Alternity page with a silhouette of the next vehicle that we will see in the line. It appears to be a Lamborghini with a spoiler on its roof. Could that mean that a Sunstreaker/Sideswipe duo may be coming?

I don't get it, they show this as coming soon, but BB & CJ are next to be released and there's no mention of them...

I predict Destron because Alternity has been doing alternating release of characters of each faction. Since Bumble is next, a Destron should be released after.

I know it's kind of stretching but I'm hoping for a Stunticon(Breakdown!) for the character after Bumble. However, I would think that it'd be smarter to release the more prominent characters early on. Maybe it could be Starscream. A fast sportscar suits the Air Commander. Using the 3 paint version scheme, the first could be Starscream, the second could be Skywarp, and the third could be Thundercracker. All three have great colour schemes for sports cars.

But seriously, I'm hoping for Breakdown or they could even do Wildrider with it and i'd eat it up. But let's face it, considering how much I love my Black Convoy & Gunmetal Megatron Alternities, i'll buy whatever they label it as.

EDIT: You know Runabout & Runamuck would be fitting of a Lambo Alternity.

Wait, isn't this the same coming soon picture that was on the site a year or so ago before they released henkei Sunstreaker? I vaguely remember the misspelling then too. The profile looks exactly like the henkei/classics version. You can even see the two prongs holding up the spoiler on each side

I'm with DevastaTTor. I distinctly remember seeing this image before quite some time ago. Unless I'm mistaken (It's been known to happen).

I kinda thought the same thing but I didn't want to say anything. I remember things that haven't happened yet quite a lot, figured this was just another one of those times.

Looks like the silhouette of Classics Sunstreaker and Sideswipe, maybe a lil Lambo Murcielago thrown in. My guess the Brothers are next, something very similar to the classics mold, but with q licensed alt mode.

BTW the Spoiler is on the boot/trunk, not the roof

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw it. Maybe they just got lazy and decided to use the same image because it resembles what they're planning.

If they do something traditional I'm sure it will be Sideswipe/Sunstreaker, but I wouldn't mind a Hot Rod either.

I disagree - they aren't alternating. OP, Meg, BB, CJ. Ok so far each NEW MOLD is an alternation but it's too early to tell. Go and work out the average of Deceps:Autobots in Bin/Alts and then count how many of those Deceps were new molds. I don't expect this line to differ

This is the eact same image that I mistakenly report why back. The coming soon really should mention BB and CJ.

I'm hopeful for a more even split of Cybertron/Destron characters! I'm just going by the early pattern of molds:

1) Cybertron - Convoy
2) Destron - Megatron
3) Cybertron - Bumble/Cliff

Right now, I think it makes sense for another Destron to be the next character because with the Bumble/Cliff mold, you aren't just getting repaints, you're getting a retooling with Cliff's head sculpt. It's 2 for 1 moreso than Convoy and Megatron's straight up repaints.

Also, with the concept of the Auto-Avatar, each mold is apparently going for a pattern of 1 "original" plus 2 repaints(I think the third for the Bumble mold could be Hubcap but he's also yellow...I'd love to see Bugbite's colour scheme on the mold!) to represent 3 iterations of a character or multiple similar characters as the Bumble mold may be implying. I think this may change the repaint plan in this line more than BT/Alts because with the first 3 molds, we are already seeing up to 9 paint schemes. That's 6 repaints already. I think that if we do see more than 3 repaints per mold, I hope we see more retoolings. I don't mind that at all as long as the base mold suits the character.
