I dont follow football. At all. I usually work Superbowl Sunday, and only watch the game if I happen to be off. I like to know who's in the playoffs, who goes to the Superbowl, and who wins, but that's about it. I rarely watch a football game.
That said, being in southern Mississippi, the closest thing we have to a team is the Saints. And they've SUCKED as long as I've been alive. So, by God, they deserve this. I've been pulling for them since about halfway through the season. I wish I could be in New Orleans tomorrow to party it up, but alas, I will be at work. Tempting to ride down afterwards, I know Bourbon Street will still be hopping no matter how the game ends.

Goes back before bleeding heart I'm supposed to feel sorry for u for being dumb enough to live next to the ocean below sea level as well Katrina times.

I think you underestimated da blowout dat da Saints and Colts combined team would suffer at da hands of a certain head coach Mike Ditka. I tink dat da score would be much closer to 102-9.
New Orleans does deserve to win the SB, as do the Colts. If they didn't deserve it, they wouldn't be there now. However, as I said earlier, I will be pulling for the Saints for the simple fact that they have not won a Super Bowl while the Colts have won one already. That was a pretty lame bunch of commercials in the first half. I agree though; the Brett Favre commercial was funny...and the Boost Shuffle was hilarious, especially for those of us that remember the Super Bowl Shuffle!
I think this game is a lot closer than most anticipated. I surely didn't expect a 10-6 score at the half...more like 17-13 or 20-10. Defenses seem to have settled down a bit. Second half is going to be interesting.

Just sat throught the halftime show and I have to say: they should never try to sing Pinball Wizard in its original key again. Despite that, The Who (what was left of them anyways) was pretty entertaining. The biggest surprise was hearing the crowd singing along. I can't remember ever hearing that at a SB halftime show before.
So what past band will they drag out for next year? My guesses are Survivor, the Doobie Brothers, or Billy Joel. However, since it's in Dallas, I'd wager a country band. Rascal Flatts.
