I almost cried last night, not a Saints fan, but a diehard HATER of the Patriots!!!! Geaux Saints Geaux!!!! Just to see Brady stop playing like 6 minutes left in the 4th, ahhhh, beauty!!! I also think of how arrogant Belichick is. I mean to sit Brady for the final 6 minutes of the game of which they were losing badly, and also to play him when they were trashing the Titans a month or so ago, what a complete A$$!!!!! I hope they get pwned by the Dolphins, and end up fighting for the wildcard.... I hate them sooo much!!!

I agree DK...There are only a few teams in pro sports I can't stand and actively always root against: the Yankees, the Packers, the Cowboys, the Pats, the Lakers, and the Red Wings. THat game was supposed to be a test for these new Saints; I think they passed with flying colors and am convinced now more than ever that they will not only be in, but will win the Super Bowl.

There was a local song released in the late 80's and the chorus lyrics went like this..

It is a "New Orleans" thing with the way we speak, the strong french influence in our dialect makes us say words like "dat, dey, dem, etc..."
It all comes from the French heritage in the area.

From my dealings on the Spawn trading boards it seems that quite a few teams have their own songs.
The SB shuffle was somewhat "mainstream" due to MTV and to the Bears popularity at the time and the high profile Jim McMahon and William "the refrigerator" Perry.

My favorite part is the first verse from the greatest (IMHO) ever.. "Sweetness" Walter Payton.

I think they are gonna have to fight the Vikings for that spot. I seriously don't think any other team in the NFC is on their level. Not the Cards, Boys, Eagles, Falcons, none.

I honestly think the Saints could beat the Vikings.. This is a different Saints team than we are used to.. A more rounded team with a great offense, solid defense and decent special teams.

But, time will tell.

I definitely look forward to seeing the Vikes and the Saints in the NFC Championship game. IMHO, that is going to be the Super Bowl.

And I agree about Sweetness. No one better or classier...ever. End of story. I freely admit that I cried when he passed away. It is one of only two times I plan on crying in my life. The other will be tears of joy when the Cubs finally when a title.

A good percentage of their games was won by 3 points, a lot of their games were comeback wins too.
A lot of the Colts games this year were come back wins.
A win is a win.
If they lose one or two in the regular season, no biggie, better to get that monkey off your back, shake it off and move forward.

A good percentage of their games was won by 3 points, a lot of their games were comeback wins too.
A lot of the Colts games this year were come back wins.
A win is a win.
If they lose one or two in the regular season, no biggie, better to get that monkey off your back, shake it off and move forward.

No doubt, i think both teams are prime for a defeat, and now that both have clinched the division they may rest some starters which will make it more likely to happen but it wont be of an consequence. It will be an interesting postseason to say the least.

Im watching the Cardinals vs. Vikings game right now and of course the Cards are kickin ass! GO CARDS!!!

But watch the rest of the games today and the games in the last week im guessing the redskins are goin all the way this year, or atleast getting gto the Super Bowl.

Holy crap did the Cards beat the stuffing out of the Vikings. It wasn't even close. Brett Favre is starting to look like himself again. And some of the catches the Cards wideouts made were just amazing.

THat injury to EJ Henderson was nasty though...it's always bad when your foot is bent at the knee, but in your stomach...money says he tore ACL, MCL, and LCL, and the patellar ligament too. Best wishes on his surgery and rehab.

Oh god the injury was horrible! I was like thats gotta hurt, alot.

People are saying the Patriots are only gonna win 2 of the last 4 games. I hope this is true, which means they will have to contend for a wild card spot. And I don't like the Redskins anymore, they are simply just a home team for me, but geez, it's so disapointing to watch sports center and have to turn to another channel when they are showing Skins game replays.
