I'm very glad my Bears are off today...we were down to our 6th and 7th string DBs thanks to injuries. On the up side, mike Brown isn't hurt yet...

Next up for the Lions: my suddenly offensively explosive Bears. Ummm...when was the last time we could use the term "explosive offense" with the Bears, anyway? At least we are getting back our two starting corners from injury and Hester will be healed up as well. Hey Detroit, here comes 0-8!

The offense is starting to click but its hard to get momentum when the defense takes like 25 minutes off the clock everytime its out there! The Colts-Packers game was nothing short of a straight embarrassment...the Colts basically just laid down and died for Green Bay. 110 yards in penalties and 2 interceptions for Green Bay Touchdowns! What I don't get is other than Ed Johnson being missing and Bob Sanders being out, this is the EXACT same defense that was ranked #2 in the league last year. Can 2 players really make that much of a difference? Apparently so.
Course it don't help that the offense struggled so much throughout the first 4 games. Manning sat out all pre-season so he came out rusty, and the Offensive line has been built out of nearly all rookies and 2nd stringers. I will say we could of won that Green Bay game had the offense not abandoned the run so fast... Dominique Rhodes was torching the Green Bay defense early on, but after sitting on the bench for 10 minute intervals everytime, Manning came out anxious to score, and ended up going either 3 and out or throwing an interception that was returned for a TD.
I think if the Colts have patience with the Titans they can win. One things for sure: the longer your defense is out there, the worse they are going to play. The key to winning tommorrow is accepting the fact the defense is going to probably give up 50 yards rushing easy every time they are out there, and take 10 minutes off the clock. If we are lucky they'll hold the Titans to field goals. When the Colts offense goes out they HAVE to remember the run. fight poisen with poisen! If the Colts can have patience and take 10 minutes off the clock every time they have the ball, they can win.
But I'm not going to lie. I'm not a 100% confident the Colts are going to win tomorrow. Tennessee is the perfect team to beat the Colts. Good defense and a run-heavy offense. Hope the Colts get rhythm early or it could be a looooong day!

Unless Dallas gets their **** together, they're going to be looking for a wild card berth this year, if at all.
The way things look now, it's going to come down to the last week of the regular season before we know which NFC East and NFC South teams get in to the playoffs or not.
Which is bad news for the West and North, since if you're not leading the division, you're not going to the playoffs.

Welcome to last week!
If we beat the G'nats and the Skin's lose to the Steelers, things may turn around in our favor. If only the Steelers would have won yesterday, things would be great right now.

Bungals, you guys just really suck! I truely don't know who is worse, Detroit or Cincy. If they played each other in a game there would be about 12 turnovers per team and the game would end in a tie. But thanks guys, really, now the Texans are only the third most inept team in the league! They are looking to gain ground on Oakland and Kansas City though...the 49ers aren't far behind either!

1. Cincy will go 1-15 and not get the number 1 pick.
2. Detroit will have the first truly perfect year ever: 0-16.
3. Wade Phillips will be fired.
4. Pacman Jones will get arrested at least three more times.
5. Brett Favre will lead the league in interceptions.
6. THe Colts will finish at .500.
7. Mike SIngletary will beat up one of his players for being a primadonna.
8. The Bears will win the NFC Central.
9. Terrell Owens will open his mouth one too many times and Jerry Jones will kick his ass.
10. Jessica Simpson will go after Kyle Orton since Tony Romo is hurt.
11. The Super Bowl Halftime Show will suck.
12. The Patriots will make the playoffs.
13. Chad Ocho Cinco will legally change his name to Smith.

Sometimes it's not just winning that counts, but how badly you utterly defeat the opposing team.

The Titans I think are the shock of the year.
Brady Quinn is starting in the Browns/Broncos game on Thursday. I really have no idea how thats going to go

One of my favorite QBs came out of his short retirement this weekend though
Daunte Culpepper signed a two year deal with Detroit
Hopefully, Daunte can help the Lions.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Detroit shouldn't let something like "hope" interfere with their perfect season! They just GOTTA do it! 0-16 baby!

Theoretically Tennessee can still loose the division! We'll see what happens. I haven't given up on the Colts yet...not one bit!

What a TNF game. Broncos with a great win. Something about facing the Browns brings out the best in Broncos QBs.
