The funny thing is that both the PRiD Cliffy and Bulky have aspects better than the FE figures. If only there were a way to combine the two to make the perfect figure.

Mine would be the Prime figures. Those bots are responsible for getting me into collection TFs "hardcroe" and quite frankly are lovely figures and arguably the pinnacle of TF engineering and design. I nice mix of Movie figure complexity with generations charm. Even the "basic" deluxe Cliffjumper is more interesting to me than anything that CW or TR has given us.

So I brought RiD GA Grimmy with me to work and then decided he needed some red panel lines and highlights. Snuck a few black details in for fun.
Ok first, the boring stock image. More yellow, less metallic orange.
And now the new and improved!
First things first, that Primus awful insignia had to go!
Yeah he stole that gunsword from Breakdown.

I'm still considering adding additional red panel lines to his tail and dino arms and I'd like to do some work to his dino head, but those red eyes are keeping me from lining him in red. Maybe black eyebrows? Whatcha think?

I'm very happy with the results. Customizing is like eating potato chips. Anyway, it was a lot of work with those tiny lines, but damn it didn't take but a lick of color to really jazz up a figure.
